Fantastic!

Fantastic nutrition tracker with detailed insights that go far beyond calories. It’s easy to use, privacy-friendly, and has become an essential part of my healthy routine!

Response from developer

Thanks for using my app! I’m glad it has been helping you out so much.

Perfect for micronutrient tracking

I’ve been using this app for a while now and love how detailed the nutrient info is. I used to use MyFitnessPal, but stopped because it basically only had macronutrient info.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for using my app! It's good to know that it's helping you out.

So useful!

It’s so convenient and useful to check what kinds of nutrients are in each food for me, because it has a lot of details. I rely on this app because I trust that the information is accurate. It’s really helpful and helps me save time.

Response from developer

It makes me happy that my app is helping you out! Thanks for the review.

Not enough foods in search

Im frustrated with this app because they have great micro-nutrient tracking but you can’t input your own foods manually. That means if none of the food options you search match what you’re eating, you can’t log it. A ton of brands and just basic types of food are missing from the search selections. It’s also difficult to find certain things because of how they categorize it. For example, it took me a few minutes to find cinnamon because they log it as a spice, so it doesn’t come up unless you search “spice, cinnamon.” Hope they update their software so that the food search works more smoothly and so that there’s an option to input our own foods.

Barcode scanning and custom foods are now here! I'm sorry that you had those issues with my app. There have been many improvements in the app recently. I've added custom food entry, barcode scanning, and greatly improved food search in general. One reason that the food database may be missing foods that you expect to find is that I only use the highly detailed and accurate USDA food database. Other food databases will brag about the enormous number of foods available, but they don't have the micronutrient detail that I wanted to include in my app.

Awesome

This is a great app to track mineral levels in food, both vital minerals and electrolytes.

Simple, excellent

Doesn’t ask for your weight or anything, doesn’t try to ‘help’ you meet your goals. I just needed an app to keep track of what I’m eating to gain mass, and thats what I got

Love it! Features I'd like to see

I love this app, very user friendly and thorough! A few features I'd like to see are:

Adding food manually with nutrient facts that doesn't come up in the search. Example: premier protein shake. It doesn't come up, but I could enter the nutrition facts from the bottle and keep it under "my meals"

Adding info about the "normal/average" amount of the nutrients for individual gender, age, and size. And also about what the nutrient is and what it does. Example: what is ash? How much is too much or too little? Is it harmful or helpful?

Thanks! I hope this is helpful!

Great app

Good UX could be improved with ability to delete whole meals and RDA data overlayed on nutrient grid

Good but can’t edit entered data

I just started using this, and so far so good, but it would be really nice to be able to edit the food entries I made.In my learning, I missed where to set the time, so it looks like all my food was consumed in the evening… And there’s no way to fix it, except delete and start over. Not crucial but a bit irksome. Also not every nutrient has a recommended amount listed. I don’t know if they just don’t exist, or what, but it’s really nice and they do have recommended amounts and you can see how you compare.Still, I’m gonna stick with it, at least for a week, which was my goal.

Abysmal…

This app has a TON of specific nutritional data - which I want / was interested in.. BUT this app is unusable, in my opinion.

The searching / results are non-specific and ABYSMAL - and there’s NO self entry.

Do a search for PEAS and you’ll get peaches, pears, etc.
Try to be MORE granular or specific in your query and it doesn’t work.

Thanks for using my app. Version 3.8 was just released with the ability to add your own foods. And in the next version I am going to focus on improving the search feature. I know it can be a little frustrating to find certain foods right now.

App keeps coming back

This app keeps coming back after I delete it!

Response from developer

I'm so sorry that you were having issues with my app. I hope you were able to get it resolved. I would be happy to help you directly if you reach out at jasonsappsfeedback@gmail.com

Not user friendly

I’ve used a lot of apps but this one while it breaks down the nutrient totals for you, food selection is limited and most often can’t find a match. There is no way to scan in your actual food items to get actual totals.

Pretty good app

I like that you can enter your food and get all the nutritional information. But it would be great to see how it compares to the recommended nutritional daily amounts you should eat. It would also be great to be able to create and save your own foods. I make a smoothie every morning and it would be great to be able to enter all the ingredients once and then select my smoothie.

What a cool app!

It was easy to figure out! Input a food, it will input your nutrients, click on any nutrient box, click on the “i” circle and it gives you the recommended amounts by age so you can compare consumed to still needed. Mcg and Ug are the same so there is no need to calculate. 1Mcg=1Ug. This is great for people who are trying to get the right nutrients into their diet, specifically for me trying to strengthen my thyroid through Iodine, Selenium, Zinc, and Iron balances.
Thank you Jason whoever you may be.

I'm sorry you had that issue. The app has come a long way since version 1.13, with even more updates coming soon. I hope you give it another try.

Do not buy. Scam to sell other products

Do not buy. Scam. Gave a 1 because I could not send this warning otherwise.

Response from developer

I'm sorry you felt that way. The app has come a long way since version 1.12, with even more updates coming soon. If there was a specific thing, or list of things, you didn't like please feel free to share.

Fantastic!

This app is great for tracking nutrition. I only wish it could also calculated my recommended daily nutrient intake and compare my ideal intake with actual intake. I highly recommend this app! It rivals $50-$100 apps I have seen.

Would love if I could input my serving size

I would love if the app was able to do a bit of math and allow me to put dynamic grams such as 10g of xFood instead of the set amounts of 100g, 1 cup, etc.

Lots of info

I am amazed at all the information this compiles from your food information

Great app!

User-friendly and very thorough 👍🏼
