Dangerous app

My hemoglobin is 29.3 and ferritin is 5, but Ruby Health stops at 26 and claimed I am not anemic. I am medically diagnosed with severe anemia. I got this app to show my progress, but based on my experience this app is unsafe for anyone tracking their condition.

Does not seem to be reliable

I wanted this to work so I knew if I need to adjust my iron intake. I did this test two days in a row and there was a 2 point difference. The lower of the two numbers was done in my bathroom which has what claims to be a daylight light bulb and the higher number was done in a room with a standard led. I do the free version so I only use it when I feel off and need to know if it is iron or protein I need. hopefully one day this can be a lot more accurate because right now they're really aren't at home tests unless you get it from a different country and or pay an arm and a leg and I'm not going to run to the doctor every time there's a problem because it's pretty much pointless for a female in the US.

FAQ

What does the Ruby Health app do?

Ruby Health is a wellness tool that uses a fingernail selfie to non-invasively estimate your Iron Score and Circulation Score. It helps you monitor your blood health, track lifestyle factors like water intake and menstrual cycles, and identify potential signs of iron deficiency or poor circulation. The app is intended to encourage a healthy lifestyle and is not a diagnostic tool.

How do I get my Iron and Circulation Scores?

To get your scores, you simply download the app, take a fingernail selfie, and the app will analyze it to provide your instant Iron and Circulation Scores. The Iron Score assesses your risk of iron deficiency anemia by analyzing the paleness of your nail beds, while the Circulation Score measures how fast your blood is moving in your fingertips.

Is Ruby Health free to use?

Ruby Health offers a basic free subscription with limited tests per month (3 iron score tests and 50 circulation tests). A premium subscription is available, offering unlimited tests, enhanced calibration for more accurate results, detailed data insights into trends, and reminders for taking selfies.

What are the benefits of the premium subscription?

The premium subscription provides unlimited Iron and Circulation Score tests, allowing for more frequent monitoring and better tracking of lifestyle changes. It also includes calibration for 50% more accurate results, full access to past test results and trends, and helpful reminders to take your fingernail selfies.

Who is Ruby Health for?

Ruby Health is designed for anyone interested in monitoring their blood health and understanding potential indicators of iron deficiency or poor circulation. This includes women, especially those who are pregnant or have recently given birth, parents of young children, individuals over 65, vegetarians and vegans, high-performance athletes, and anyone managing their health.
