Hi, thank you for trying NutriScale, and we’re sorry for the confusion. Our food log is tracked by the saved time of each food entry, rather than separate meal categories like breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can also edit the food time after saving, and the Daily log will update accordingly. For packaged foods, Scan Food should help with barcode logging. If a barcode isn’t recognized, you can also use Enter barcode Manually, search for the item, or scan the nutrition label or food photo as a backup. We appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll give the app another try. If your experience improves, we’d really appreciate an updated review.

Hi, we’re sorry for the frustrating experience. Food Scan should still be working, and if you were using version 2.1.7, please update to the newest version available in the App Store and try again. Besides barcode scanning, NutriScale also supports Photo Recognition, so you can take a picture of the food, scan the nutrition label, or use Enter barcode Manually if a barcode isn’t recognized. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We hope you’ll give NutriScale another try, and if the updated version works better for you, we’d truly appreciate an updated review.
