New bug

First of all my app is updated to the latest version and my smart scale successfully connects to my phone so no issues but the smart scale works correctly when I manually search for a food and use Smart Scale Sync. However, with most foods I scan by barcode, the macros update correctly but the serving size stays at 0. When I try to save, I get an error saying the food weight must be greater than 0. I then have to manually enter the weight. This used to work correctly, so hopefully it can be fixed in a future update thank you again.

I was scammed with a one-year subscription.

I bought an annual subscription for $43.49 and, five minutes later, it's asking me to buy it again because the previous one has expired. I want a refund.

Just started this app

Not sure about it yet. The bar scan doesn't seem to be working. Tried it several times with no luck. Manually entered the numbers. How do you track by meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks? I can't find it anywhere on the app. Kind of frustrating already.

Response from developer

Hi, thank you for trying NutriScale, and we’re sorry for the confusion. Our food log is tracked by the saved time of each food entry, rather than separate meal categories like breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can also edit the food time after saving, and the Daily log will update accordingly. For packaged foods, Scan Food should help with barcode logging. If a barcode isn’t recognized, you can also use Enter barcode Manually, search for the item, or scan the nutrition label or food photo as a backup. We appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll give the app another try. If your experience improves, we’d really appreciate an updated review.

Not working

It doesn’t scan anything anymore pathetic

Response from developer

Hi, we’re sorry for the frustrating experience. Food Scan should still be working, and if you were using version 2.1.7, please update to the newest version available in the App Store and try again. Besides barcode scanning, NutriScale also supports Photo Recognition, so you can take a picture of the food, scan the nutrition label, or use Enter barcode Manually if a barcode isn’t recognized. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We hope you’ll give NutriScale another try, and if the updated version works better for you, we’d truly appreciate an updated review.

Works alright

When the app is working, it is very easy to use and convenient, however it frequently crashes. Feels like a coin flip on whether the app with work or not.

Response from developer

Hi, thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry for the frustration. We’re glad NutriScale feels easy to use when it’s working well, and we understand how disappointing the crashes must have been. We’ve made several stability improvements since version 2.1.4 to make the app more reliable. Please update to the latest version and give it another try. We appreciate you sticking with us, and if your experience has improved, we’d truly appreciate an updated review.
