Won’t do anything without paying

There’s nothing but a long list of foods with links to clicking the link prompts to “Unlock more” by paying. I don’t object to paying for an app. But without any way at all to test it out? Free trial? Small number of lookups? But no such thing happened. I suppose I’m supposed to take a chance and pay first. Well no, I don’t think I will.

Best Nutrition Facts App Calculator

Thank you Starbound Logic LLC for making this app and sharing it for FREE. I am a diabetic and I have been tracking my Carbs intake. This app helps me in calculating my carbs consumption. This app works on all my Apple devices. This app gives hundreds of recipes on a single food item. So I have also discovered recipes I may include in my diet. Recipes I love to eat but are within my daily carb limit intake. A very wonderful and helpful app. I believe I will be able to control my A1C and bring it to normal with the help of this app. I'm so happy I discovered this app.

Is this a scam?!

I downloaded this app from Apple's AppStore. When I tried using the app there were NO instructions, NO support, just a static page.

Is this even an application? I entered an ingredient in the text field and it did absolutely nothing.

Does Apple check the applications offered in its AppStore? The website for Starbound Logic.com is also "static!"

I'm concerned "Starbound Logic LLC" might be a scam site. Do NOT download!

Response from developer

Under “Energy” in 2 units “KCAL” and “kJ”

This is a really good application

I’ve reached the point where I need to be monitoring the amount of protein I consume as well as my regular carbohydrate amounts. Everything I have searched for in this app has given me multiple options and every one of them has had exactly what I was looking for. I luv this app.
