Update adds new icon and fixes nothing
Landscape viewing on mobile app still has a dark border shadow covering about 20-30% of the camera’s view around the edges when using the scroll controls on screen - what is the point of this? Still can’t download video clips from mobile app. A couple of basic items that should be fixed to at least make viewing and using footage easier.

If you want a usable security system, this app should not be part of it. There is minimal, if any, functionality. 1x is the only viewing speed. Landscape viewing with controls on screen overlays an annoying filter that darkens 2/3 of the screen that makes reviewing footage impossible as the controls need to be toggled on and off the screen to remove the annoying filter. There is also no option to download clips or screen shot the highest possible resolution available. The app is complete rubbish.

Can’t download and save footage from app only view. Support told me to screen record to capture footage.

Functional and Stable
About 6 months ago I switched over to Nx Witness as our VMS solution. I’m running v5 on our server managing 17 IP Cameras, the IOS app is clean, stable and functional. Nx Cloud makes secure remote access quick and efficient. The recent addition of reviewing bookmarks is welcomed, and makes quick reviews easy although I wish there was an option to export footage from the timeline or a bookmark to the camera roll, that’s one of the only missing features. Having the ability to view layouts or a full screen multiplex view would also be nice not not essential.

Buggy
Recent update has caused inability to log in without logging into NX Cloud first.
Great app, but recent update just makes the app sluggish,
This has been a great app for ages, but this new update has just made this app slow, soft lock and cause various graphical glitches. So please streamline this version a bit more before releasing it maybe
So many issues with this app
Regularly have issues where app won’t deliver alarm notifications, and won’t connect to cameras out of wifi range. Continually having to delete and reinstall but it keeps falling over
Don’t fix it if it’s not broken
This was a solid app until the last upgrade. Now that you have to log in on the same device every time even though you select ‘save passwords’ is extremely frustrating. Please fix this fault.

Good user interface and a fast responsive app. Would be great to be able to save a motion alert to the camera roll on iPhone like the ring app. One of our properties has ring and the ability to quickly save and send to someone to identify vehicles or people is excellent. This system is good as we have many cameras on it and finding people and vehicle movements is easy but there’s no ability to share the footage, not even a snapshot option. Look forward to the possibility of that one day. Thank you.

Enhancement
With NX desktop you have a control to allow opening and closing security gates. This is not available for iPhone app. When can we expect this to be done??

Fantastic, but a few issues
A really great app. But two main issues:
(1). When you open the app, it takes over the audio. I often have audio in the background, and NX kills it every time you open the app. It would be nice if by default it didn’t do this until you actually were viewing/reviewing footage with audio. I have zero cameras with audio.
(2). When viewing a single camera feed, and then rotating into landscape on an iPhone X or 11, when returning to portrait, the top navigations buttons are to high, covered by the notch on the phone and do not respond to touch well.

Fast and Pretty
Fast? Check. Pretty? Check. Dependable? Double check. Gotta love the new Fisheye Dewarping and PTZ features. And the Nx1 Lite Client control is ridiculously cool.
Also Nx Cloud makes logging into my systems from anywhere simple.
