Nothing works after update
Network error. No cameras no map nothing. Bring back the old app - at least everything worked.

The redesigned app has already come in handy multiple times! The route planning feature is great, I like that I can calculate my toll, and the cameras are a nice touch. Thank you!

This new version of the app is awesome! I have told all of my friends about how this app has made my travel on the Thruway a dream. NYSTA and their developers have knocked this one out of the park. GRAND SLAM!

I imagine most people who seek out this app are looking for an easy way to find service areas on the road and see which services are there. The info is in here. Listing them alphabetically IS NOT HELPFUL! Two lists: Eastbound and Westbound, in mile-marker order. EASY!
Filter by eastbound/westbound?
I mean, is the obvious use fade for this app not to identify where you can stop while driving on the thruway? So I should be able to filter by eastbound/westbound service areas. Or at least when I view the interactive map and tap on a stop the little pop up window should say east/west. Bistro have to click on it again where it states east/west. But then if its not what I need and I want to back out the map resets and I have to zoom in again and forgot which stop I was checking. Come on, this should be the basic functionality.

Bad user interface and account access
Needs an interface overhaul. Not user friendly, and why can you not access your EZ Pass account in the app? The link takes you to browser. This app is not very useful.
Poorly designed
This app was more work than it was worth. Why in the world would you list your service stations in alphabetical order instead of by mile post or in order from east to west etc.? I don’t know why they have a function called interactive map because there’s nothing interactive about it.

Add mile markers next to the service area name
It's nice to know what rest areas are between different exits, but having the mile markers by the service name would be helpful to know how far away they are.
Toll calculator doesn’t work
The toll calculator doesn’t work because I can’t select the axle size from the drop down. I tried using the “contact us” to notify you of the problem but the app crashed when I submitted the issue.

You might think that the app would have a convenient way to find the nearest service area relative to your current location.. you would be wrong. Instead you get a listing of service areas in alphabetical order! How useful!

I don’t see a way to find your location on the interactive map. That limits the map’s usefulness.

App Crashes when looking at Service Area details
App has nice features regarding location of cameras, service areas and alerts. However, when I try to get detailed info on the service area from either the map or the service area menu, the app crashes and you have to restart.
Works pretty good. Needs useful features
This app would be pretty good if it allowed me to connect it to my ezpass account via the app. You have to go online and login into your account. The app would be a lot better if it had this feature built into it. Login to the app with the same info you use on the ezpass site and done. Or atleast be able to link it. I hate having to use the ezpass because I have to login all the time to see my balance.

Could be a lot better!
It would be nice to have a quick link to the various cameras along the Thruway. Instead, this app requires you to go the Thruway website and then you have to search the menu for the cameras. Make it simpler!!! Camera views are a handy way to see upcoming winter weather driving conditions!!!!

Live traffic camera feeds can be found in the app under the Interactive Thruway Map. Be sure to turn on the camera icons under the map setting found in the top right corner of the interactive map screen and then tap on a map icon to view the feed. These camera images will auto refresh approximately every 30 seconds.
