Sucks to pay a small fortune for energy and watch that money get wasted on a garbage app.

You would think for what we are paying the app would be better. We’re certainly not paying for the technology capability.
Customer for 4 years
The app fails to save my basic account information, the aspect ratio does not fit my mobile device correctly and never has, and tries to pigeonhole you into auto-pay or budget billing, and that is just the app. The company as a whole has seasonal blackouts at my home and work, raises my rates and communities rates and fails to deliver its line upgrades in a timely manner.
Would move onto a different company if this wasn’t a monopoly.

NYSEQ Sucks and Scammer.
NYSEQ is truly a company that sucks the life out of you. The bill is never consistent and the meters are never right. Living in an apartment and I’m paying a bill as if I was living in a mansion. Truly the a scam of the earth.
Easiest app yet!
This app is extremely user friendly, clear and concise direction that takes the aggravation out of getting any/account info online.

The customer service representative was professional,knowledgeable and listen to all my concerns with empathy.
Monopoly company
Love only being given the option to “recommend the app” or “maybe later” to a business that I despise but am forced to use because there are no alternatives in my area. I hate the company and the app, probably would have a better review if they didn’t out right overcharge people especially in winter months due to lazy employees not actually reading the meter. Don’t want a bad review? maybe give an option to just not be spammed with a review after paying a bill every single time..

The worst app I’m forced to use
The worst app I’m forced to use since paying by phone or website is even worse. Never saves my banking information, the card redirect constantly fails, and half the time it errors out just trying to log in. They overcharge for energy usage and clearly don’t invest it in a good app.

Easiest way to pay your bill. However, there’s no tool to engage with NYSEG outside of reporting a gas leak. It’s almost impossible to communicate with this company outside of writing a letter and hoping for a response.
