Scan, Measure & Build Models

What's New in Object3D
1.2
October 18, 2026
NEW • Measurements are now saved with each model — reopen a scan and your distances, angles and polylines are still there, in the same unit you used. • Size calibration (Pro): measure one dimension of the real object with a ruler, enter what the app shows and the actual value, and every size for that model is corrected by the same ratio. Exported measurement reports carry the corrected values too. • Search your library by name, sort by date, name or file size, and select several models to delete at once. • Models that have saved measurements now show a badge in the library. • Diagnostics export in Storage — attach your app version and storage usage when reporting a problem. Contains no model names or measurements. IMPROVED • Raw capture photos are now removed automatically after a successful build, so they no longer keep filling up your device. • Consistent dark appearance throughout — scanning no longer jumps between dark and light screens. • Reconstruction progress now appears in your system language (previously English only). • Your preferred unit of length is remembered. • Your measurements now sync across devices with iCloud Sync, and the menu shows a "Sync Now" button plus when it last synced. • Arabic and other right-to-left languages now lay out correctly. FIXED • Deleted models no longer come back on the next iCloud sync. • A failed deletion no longer removes the model from your library while leaving the file on disk. • Deleting a model now also clears its saved measurements and custom name. • 3D exports (GLB, STL, OBJ) now carry correct textures, units and orientation. • Fixed several iCloud Sync edge cases that could delete or re-upload models. • Restore Purchases now reports success or "nothing to restore" instead of staying silent.
