Buggy audio
A lot of pauses in the audio component. When the app is reopened to replay the section, it starts playing two separate sequences of audio at the same time. Needs some work.

Can we have more french options please?
I used ocean for years, in the 2000, long before it was an app. We then had a lot of Scripture and guidances in french. I miss it so much! Could you add more content on french please, like in the firsts versions. 😊

Great app for audio to text
So happy audio glitch is fixed. I primarily use this app to listen to books. I love how you adjust the audio reading speed.
Excellent App
I’ve been using it for many years, and it keeps getting better. The ability to speed up the audio versions of the books is fantastic. If possible, it would be great if it we had the option to speed up the audio even more.

Ocean is very valuable
Ocean, really, is a beautifully designed and well thought out piece of software. The richness of its content and inclusivity of it in the way it embraces and provides unfettered access to revelations of a range of Faiths of the peoples of the world is a gift to readers and enquirers. The well designed deep search capacity and the facility to copy quotations while automatically capturing the source is an incredibly valuable tool for lit review on specific spiritual topics, seminars, firesides, deepenings, auxiliary study circles materials and devotional gatherings. Almost perfect
This app is incredible. It’s by far the best reader app of its type, with its huge amount of content and plethora of features.
I found it while looking for a reader for the Baha’i books that has a dark mode as I have very sensitive eyes. As well as being the only reader with this feature, having the incredible audio feature is a huge bonus. I’m a programmer, and I have no idea how you have such a smooth sounding voice. I can only assume it is actually audiobook recording with some tracking in it, as it sounds far too natural and human.
A few notes however... I’d love to be able to hit play and let it go without having to pick it up every few minutes. The app tends to stop playing regularly making it difficult to listen to for more than a few minutes without intervention. With this in mind, I’d love it if the app also then Had a sleep timer so you could choose to listen for 20-30 mins for example.

Ocean is by far my favorite app and the best space for refreshment and elevated perspective. The developers must be working under direct supervision of the Divine Will!
To have the sacred texts read aloud in a clear, warm voice is truly
wondrous. delight. (Of course that’s an optional setting.) I have not begun to learn all the features, but I do enjoy being able to copy selections and send them to myself and others. Just install this, OK?

There are a few out there but this is the one linked to by the central site.
Says update, but no update, search not working
I love the regular ocean app. This ones search isnt working. Also when i check for updates, the app says there is an update available, but redirect to the app store reveals no new update.

I love this app but the search feature does not appear to work - there seems to be no way to launch it after entering the search word(s)
It is a masterpiece of the digital age
Ocean is so accessible. It is remarkably easy to conduct a search across all sacred literature, or confine the search to be within specific books. This alone merits much applause.
However, for me, the crown jewel in Ocean 2.0 is the audio on the book ‘The Dawn Breakers’. I like to simply read along on the screen as the audio proceeds, or follow along in my own book, highlighter in hand, as I study these amazing stories. The pronunciation of the names and places recorded in that book (the ones that have always been difficult for me to properly pronounce) are masterfully read by a bilingual reader who reads the book with such carefulness and beauty as to make me feel like I am personally being read to by a loving friend.
To all those involved in the making of this masterpiece, well done! And thank you!

Welcome nextgen Ocean!
Ocean was a godsend in its day, especially before online searching became so much easier and accessible but after MARS began to show its age. So it’s a pleasure to see it return, with an updated mission and update content. The iOS apps work smoothly on my iPhone and iPad; no problems at all switching between landscape and portrait orientations.

Nice to have the sacred writings, but...
It is a pleasure to have the Writings on my iPhone, but at this time it only seems to work in landscape view (no zoom in or out). I opened Seven Valleys, and Four Valleys and could not scroll right to read the right side of the page. My wife locks her phone in portrait mode, so this is a frustration for her. I don't mind much, but it would be nice to zoom in and out or scroll left or right to read the width of the page.

Interesting interfaith tool
Very easy and fast search tool. So happy that I can use it on my phone and have access to the word of God at any time and from all religions
