Hard to access
I’m a subscriber, but when I click on something to read in one of the Register’s email newsletters, it tells me I’ve reached my limit and that I can subscribe. But there’s no place on the page to log in or access my account. Very funky interface. I should be recognized as a subscriber on all my devices that I regularly use to read the Register. Ugh.

Hello, You can log in to the app by clicking the gear icon in the upper left corner. This will open the settings menu, and has the option to log in. Thank you for being an Orange County Register subscriber!
The new app is a game changer!
I love everything about it. It’s not glitchy. Very visually appealing. Easy to read the newspaper as a newspaper. You’ve gotten it right, OCRegister. Thank you!
App is decent - content is NY Times heavy
Too leftist now. The original newspaper was decidedly libertarian. Now, it is very liberal and accelerating to the left. Too many NY Times stories. 🤮🤮
Not clippers fans
This paper’s sports section has the absolute worst coverage of the LA Clippers. Actually had to enter Clippers as a search word to read about last nights game.
Poor app
Everyday…EVERYDAY I have to do an update to open the app. Real close to cancelling because of how poor the app is and the content of the paper

Not getting what I paid for!
I subscribed last week for you special “Labor Day Special “. And now I can’t open any articles. I’m told I must subscribe. Plus half the time I never get my Thursday delivery. I think your service is terrible and I never get the Saturday delivery !

Terrible
The old app was simple and straightforward. This new app is a jumbled mess. If this is the only way to read the Register now I’ll be canceling my subscription.
Crashes continue
Two updates ago crashes upon opening anything other then the home page existed both in my iPad and iPhone. The update that followed seemed to work at first but days later i still have been unable to open anything past the home page. It hangs for the same time period every time then crashes to springboard.

“New” App is not updating
You said there’s a new app, but it doesn’t update on the iPhone. I have full Wi-Fi service.

Malicious design with ads popping up every 15-20 seconds
I'm being harassed by them
OC register has been calling me, sometimes daily, since I cancelled my subscription. I have been blocking at least 6 of their numbers. They keep calling with new number to sell me a promotion. I have told them three times that I don't want to be called. Every time they promised they wouldn't. They keep calling.

This will allow you to email our support team to provide details and your phone number so they can be sure you are not contacted again.
Needs to be better
The articles are accessible and it isn’t clunky but it needs to be updated. It feels like it’s an old app, there aren’t crossword/games portion, the articles don’t have a date and time caption.

Why is there a story on the front page dated 3 months ago?
Needs improvement
This app seems out of date, not up to the tech standards of other daily news apps. There are many old out of date stories featured. Really bad navigation. A clumsy app that needs work.

Please Dan A., Give mention to all that deserve it in high school sports ( football) not just your favorites.

I have a subscription but the amount of pop over video ads renders the app unusable
