Now that has up to date tariffs really nice helpful app!!

Great app - simple, reliable, and it does exactly what it’s designed to do.
Just a quick note for the reviewers leaving low ratings because they can’t find half-hourly readings, tariff comparisons, or whatever else they imagined: this is a tracker. It shows one price per day. That’s the entire point. It’s not a comparison platform, it’s not a tariff analyzer, and it’s not trying to be.
The description is pretty clear about that, so the only real confusion seems to come from people who downloaded it expecting something completely different and then blamed the app for their own lack of reading comprehension.
“Unlike other apps” doesn’t mean it secretly does everything those apps do. It means this one has a single purpose and sticks to it.
If you’re looking for half-hourly data and complex tariff comparisons, there are plenty of apps that do that. If you’re looking for a straightforward daily tracker, this one does the job perfectly.
And if reading the description before downloading feels like too much effort… you may want to start with something simpler - like primary school.

Not what I expected
I thought I’d be able to see the half hour breakdown of energy costs and set up notifications or widgets for that. But the app is just a summary price for the whole day. It’s otherwise made well and has an ok UI. But just not the solution I was after.
Cannot select many tariffs
Unlike other apps, very few tariffs can be selected. Also you cannot compare two different tariffs. Eg Agile vs Tracker.

Great for energy nerds!
I love my energy tracker account and can usually plan when to do multiple tasks like laundry and ironing. Looking forward to the warmer months when I can build my account up (hopefully)

Excellent app for tracking the price of gas and electric. If the widget showed tomorrows price it would be an exceptional app

Notifications only work on iOS 17+
Love this app and the addition of notifications make it almost perfect. Sadly I have devices running older firmware and for those on iOS 15 and 16 I cannot enable notifications. The option to enable them gets stuck loading. For devices on iOS 17 and above I was able to enable notifications fine.
The only thing I would request would be to add tomorrows prices to the widget.

Great tool and hope for enhancement
The tool is really good to track on the daily price from Octopus Energy. However, it would be great if it can start to support the new tracker, October 2024 v1. Thank you
Wrong prices
I thought this app was pretty good until I started to compare on the main octopus app. The rates are always out but quite a bit. For example, today the rate is 23.96p in the east of England for electricity, however the app is showing 24.08p. Given the whole point of the app is to show you the correct rate each day, it renders it a bit useless. Shame as it was useful.
