The new update is great!
The app got a big update this week. I love the new data it shows. Now I can schedule charging sessions to use solar mode during the day and from the grid at night.
Missing labels
Like redesigned interface, however labels are missing from schedules (have same times for different seasons as solar setup not monitored when electrician installed)

Solar calculation separate
This app and charger is excellent BUT does not calculate solar cost separately in solar only mode which gives me false information. I know Solar assist might be difficult to calculate but you can surely calculate solar in “Solar Only” mode. Also first time calibration is mission. It feels like a mistake buying the device. Once done daily use is simple.

App Outdated & Not Updated
It’s been over 2 years since any update. The app has the potential to be so much more, but it seems they just leave it as is and ignore any feedback.
You can set schedules but can’t schedule different modes which seems ridiculous.
Eg. During the week when I’m at work during the day I’d like to set a schedule to charge Mon - Fri during off peak (10pm - 7am) so this requires the ‘Fast’ mode.
On weekends I’d like to use solar when I can, so I’d set a schedule Sat - Sun, 10am - 6pm, which requires the ‘Solar Only’ mode.
But this can’t be done as there’s no way to schedule a different mode. The mode can only be changed manually.
Why?!?
And with the cost calculation, you can only enter one rate. Again, why? Why can’t I enter my different tariff rates for ‘peak’, ‘off peak’ and ‘shoulder’?
For a ‘smart’ EVSE, this app is very ‘dumb’. The app feels more like a gimmick than a tool.
They may have great equipment, but this app certainly lets it down… If I can be bothered to work out how to use OCPP, I’ll ditch the app for something else.

The fact I have everything all from click of a button to control and monitor my usage and solar excess is a win !!
I can connect two cars to load management at home.

Solar modes
Finally I can use solar only or solar assist. I just plug in and adjust it. Even when I’m not home I just open the App. Thank you
Fundamentally flawed
It can be programmed to start and stop on the timer, but, is dependent on the Mode set in another tab. So it can turn on at night and still be in SOLAR ONLY mode. So obviously it doesn’t charge the EV. You can’t program the mode, when you program the timer, which is a fundamental flaw.
You have to use two different tabs to select whether the charger is using grid power / solar and then turn it off and on. So annoying.
The last update to the app was more than a year ago, but the reports about, “feedback reports” obscured by the keyboard on iOS are the same age. Clearly the company is not investing in their app development and improvements. It needs some serious work.

Simple to use
Use this with my Ocular IQ Solar and I am able to change which mode the charger is using which is great. I can also track the charging even when I’m not near my car or charger
App Doesn’t Work
This app will not connect to the Occular unit and you can’t submit the feedback on an iPhone 12 because the keyboard is in the way of the submit button.
