Buyer Beware!
I am a relatively new shopper at Papaya Branch and have had a few disappointing experiences. The current issue that I am having involves returning my items that did not work out. I picked them up at the store for local pickup yesterday. For several items the sizing seemed extremely off, a few items were made of material that was very cheap, and one item was vacuum sealed and when opened smelled like fish. I initiated my return immediately. I was given the option to receive store credit or refund to my credit card less a 10% fee. I proceeded with the return assuming there is an error regarding fees, as it is not stated anywhere on the return policy or the invoice received. I emailed today, because you cannot talk to an employee any other way, and they stated that the fee is 10%. I was disappointed with the response but requested that my refund be put on my credit card even with fees. Conveniently, they are not able to adjust it.
I am all about shopping local and supporting small business but this is ridiculous. Buyer beware!!
