Game Rigging, exploitation, not stop of bots messaging me for my #
This app and the current state of Off The Grid are an absolute mess. The companion app is basically a breeding ground for scam bots. I get multiple unsolicited scam messages trying to get access to my account, wallet, or GUN every single day. For something connected to a Web3 game involving real assets, that’s unacceptable.
Then there’s GUN. The token has performed terribly, and after all the hype surrounding the economy, it feels practically worthless compared to what the community was sold on.
The game itself has been plagued by exploits, cheating concerns, bugs, questionable competitive tournaments, and constant frustration from players. Instead of feeling like these problems are being seriously addressed, the experience just keeps getting worse.
I’ve put a ton of time into OTG, which makes it even more disappointing. The companion app doesn’t improve the experience—it gives scammers another way to target players.
Until the developers get the bots and scammers under control, improve security, address the game’s major competitive issues, and give players a reason to have confidence in the ecosystem again, I can’t recommend this app or the game attached to it.
