My garage door opener
Absolutely love my garage door opener. I can tap it from almost a quarter mile away and when I arrive home, my garage door is open and waiting for me. Absolutely love this feature. This is a selling point for me.
Apple Car Play
Would love to have it loaded into my car apps so I can use it easier. I don’t have to dig my phone out. I have Apple CarPlay ibut the app icon isn’t on my apps available screen.
Genie
I like it for the most part however does decide to go offline a lot even when my internet speeds are running normally not sure why this is. Reason for only 4 stars.
Very impressed
I like the Siri shortcut to say open and close garage door. Couldn’t believe the garage by default supported this - so easy!
WiFi connection
Had problems reconnecting with my WiFi.
Called service and was on hold less than 2 minutes. The technician that helped me was extremely helpful.
He explained that I had to delete my door and re-register my door.
The technician talked me through the entire process and now my door works great.
Very happy I purchased this opener

Spotty Connection
When you need it most you likely won’t have connection. Not sure why but randomly my opener will lose connection, requiring going through the connection set up etc, and then randomly days later connecting by itself. I love the app when it works!
Mostly love
I think it’d be even better to have the option to crack it (maybe select what size we want the gap to be). I have a cat that goes in there and with the app I can’t crack it enough for her to get in and out. I can’t always tell where she is and it’s been an issue.
No longer work for my Legacy 850
It used to work perfectly fine until a month ago it stopped working. Can’t get the device online…not sure it has anything to do with iOS.26
Apple Home
Please allow Apple home to control door.
Over pretty good.
Needs apple CarPlay and Apple HomeKit support
Works great
I’ve been using this app for 3+ years. No issues. Always notifies me when the door opens or closes. Simple and very useful app.
Simple
This app has been a life saver , our remote gave out some time ago and was very unreliable now we get in and out with ease !
Interface
Excellent app
The interface could help better if there was a clear option to turn on/off notifications

OHD
Great so convenient. Love it.
Great.. when it works
This app is great when it works. Half the time it says “not connected” for some reason or another and reconfiguring does not help at all because it can never connect to the network it needs to connect to. Then one day it’ll randomly send you a notification that the garage door was opened or shut and it’ll work for a few weeks until it messes up again. I hate this app.
ETA: the app support button leads to an ERROR page! Do better overhead door!

OHD Rocks
Love it!
Absolutely love my new Garage openers
I love the convenience of being able to open or close my door, via WIFI, even when I’m not at home, particularly if I left it open. It’s just one more secure feature to know that my door is open - such that I can close it or at least find out if it’s an authorized family member.
I would Highly recommend.

OHD Anywhere App
I love it!
Siri compatibility
A good app that I overall like. It’s great that I can control it with Siri voice commands.
This app works well, but…..
I love the app, I really love my 3 super quiet and reliable OHD openers. The app needs more buttons. For instance, a close all doors button would be nice. Perhaps a jog button when you only want it open a small amount for ventilation. The ability to set up notifications if a particular door has been open passed a programmable amount of time. The industry leader should definitely have the best app, thanks for reading.
