Design disaster

The 2026 version of this app is a design disaster. Finding information about anything specific is nigh-impossible. Even something as basic as parking information is hidden in the FAQs behind extensive verbiage about offsite park-and-ride, with very little information about where to go for main parking. The map is nearly useless, as everything is obscured by icons that are meaningless by themselves without the legend that’s itself difficult to use and read. It feels like this app was designed by people who’ve never been to a state fair or amusement park in their lives. Do better next year!

Fair app is Fair

Search feature not too useful. Does not hand off to map apps very well.

Trying to lure you in with non transparent prices

So the app says you have unlimited ride bands for $38, with “individual tickets available onsite” but conveniently skip over any information on the price of those tickets. Seems like the app is trying to lure people in with cheap admission, the collect pay for parking, expensive food, everything else and then trap people into getting the expensive bands for the rides once they’re already in deep.

Hard to navigate.

First it looks like it is built to appeal to a first grader. You can click on a link for the schedule to show all day events but it does not - such as “senior day”.

Works, then doesn’t

Spent some time a few days before i visit favoriting the spots i wanted to see in the app. Could view all the tabs like food and shopping fine. Came back the night before my visit to find my favorites tab wiped clean, and unable to use major parts of the app; like when you click shopping, it brings you to a page that says “voting begins Friday July 31st!” which is obviously not even the right page for this tab anymore. Multiple food vendors are also suddenly missing in the food tab despite said vendors posting on social media they are still there through the end of the fair. Unlikely that will ever be usable as the reviews from 11 years ago echo similar sentiments.

App is not up to date

So many things don’t work on this app and half the vendors you find online are not shown on the food vendor page, nor do the $3 Thursday deals shown on the website. It doesn’t really help you get to where you need. Voting says it ends in 3 days yet when you click vote it shows the voting is closed so that doesn’t make sense.

Poor app

Couldn’t vote for art. App exceeded free account?

Cannot filter for Entertainment filter, Cannot see Favorites

Useless! When you’re searching for things to do at the fair, there’s no category for entertainment in the filter list. Also, you can favoritize an event, but the app does not list Favorites or My Stuff, so you can’t find your saved events. And when you go to App Support, there’s no way to ask for help (no email address, just a website for fair personnel).

Page not found

This app is useless.

Forgot to have the food search function

The best part of last year's app was the ability to search for specific food items. I like to eat food on a stick and would search for that.

Bad

Map is not interactive with location, is simply a pdf copy that you zoom in on. Building names and anything else are impossible to see once zoomed in, making the map literally useless. Food vendor info isn't very well presented either, could be much better.

Food finder

Horrible. Please fix this

App working ok for me still

We used the app all day yesterday at the fair. My biggest two complaints are that the map is blurry. When you zoom in to see building names, they're blurry. Also, the descriptions used for the food booths could probably use some work. A couple places that were listed as having lemonade did not. And we were looking for a place that had cold cut subs. So we did a search for subs. But the only subs that there seem to be are meatball subs. We probably spent a good 40 minutes walking around to each booth. And an app that would allow users to rate the quality of food from various vendors would be great too. We found two booths that we would have given 5 stars and one that would have gotten 2.

I read the negative reviews and decided to download anyway to see for myself. I'm not having any issues with any of the features - map, food finder, or schedule. All are working just fine. I downloaded the app to use at the fair tomorrow and will re-review after we've used it at the fair.

Crash

Schedule - no file
Food finder - crash

Completely Useless

A "Fair Food Finder" that crashes every time you tap to find food. What a waste of time. Why even bother creating the app???

Food finder does not work.

It crashes when I click the food finder button.

Crash and Burn

Frustrating App. Fails to work. Has been crashing for 3 days. I anticipated the developers would put out an update quickly since this app was advertised in the Columbus dispatch and on local news channels. Clearly this app was built poorly and discarded quickly. Don't waste your time.

Don't bother downloading. It doesn't work

Don't waste your time. You'll delete it within an hour.

Doesn't work

This app could be great to have but food finder causes the app to crash, the schedule won't load and the map is too small to read or be useful.

Food finder crash

Only useful feature of the app doesn't work. Who did the QA on this crap?
