Get the paper maps from this organization instead
The app is a great idea but the zoom function is not useful and the app seems abandoned. The paper maps they put out are cheap more readable and good as a back up if your electronics fail.
Useless
Thought this would help me when off road but can’t even use the app. Everything is blank, no maps, can’t even download one. Thought it was strange I couldn’t see ANYTHING. But I see other iPhone users are having similar issues.

Can’t load new maps
I wanted to upload a map I didn’t have. Clicked get maps and nothing happens. Tried multiple times over a few days. Using iPhone 11 iOS 17.5.1
So I removed the app and uploaded the app again of course all maps I had were deleted and the get maps still isn’t doing anything.

Jawbone Map Missing
Hello, will the Jawbone Map be available for download on the app? I currently don’t see it listed.
Great App but Los Padres Map won’t load in “Get Maps”
Hey guys- can you look into this? Will change rating once fixed. I’m able to download the other maps just fine.
Will not “get maps”
After several attempts of trying to download maps, I gave up. Once I select “get maps” the app just shows a loading screen for several minutes until I eventually have to force quit the app and try again. Unfortunately the results are the same each time.
Can’t get maps to load
Jawbone ATV rental recommend this app. It is useless. It will not pull up ANY maps to load. Waste of time! Just get a paper map and save the frustration. 👎🏼👎🏼
Zoom feature weak
Can’t zoom in all that well. If gone to far in you loose the map entirely.

No way to load maps. Useless. Would be better if they offered gpx files to download into better apps like Gaia.

Ok for some
The zoom in function is ridiculous. You cannot zoom in close enough for detailed areas. There’s better APS of you’re intending to do anything off road. Where I go there are alternate touts and off shoots from the roads that you cannot see on the maps provided here. They need better zoom quality. GPS is dead on info is good, but not usable if you want detail. CalTopo, Avenza and All Trails are better.

Needs an update
I have to redownload maps everytime I open up the app. Even when I don't close out the app and switch to another app on my phone, the areas on the map disappear and only show wilderness areas. Also, the thumbnail pics of the maps in "My Maps" are blank and you have to open them up to see what map it is. Zooming in more would also.be great.
