Enjoy learning what make a certain product healthier. How certain foods go together.

Love how the app analyzes products now before I buy them so I know what I am getting is good nutritionally for my gut or liver.

Healthy and incisive

SnackShot by Dr. Sethi

Excellent App!! Now it’s much easier for anyone to correct their food habits!!

Terrible

They didn’t even notify me about the 3 day trial, It never showed up when I checked my subscriptions and had me confused for days. I didn’t even remember signing up for a subscription because it never notified me to cancel it! This app is so useless, Now $50 Is gone from my account because this app never notified me about the 3 day trial. Terrible.

Response from developer

We’re sorry for the confusion. Subscriptions and free trials purchased through the App Store are managed by Apple, and the trial terms and renewal price are shown in Apple’s purchase confirmation before signup. We don’t control Apple’s subscription notifications, but if something didn’t appear correctly, please reach out to us at support@ojacare.com and we’ll be happy to help you figure out what happened.

This helped me with Haemorrhoids and GI ulcers under investigation

Snackshot

The app is very detailed and provides good guidance to help me with my nutrition. Thank you Dr. Sethi. I do appreciate your knowledgeable information.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the kind words! We’re glad you’ve found the guidance helpful, and we really appreciate you being part of the community.

Not a real trial period

I’ve only used the app a few times, so I don’t have much feedback on the app itself. But, don’t be fooled my the three-day trial or the warning to cancel it. I was charged for an annual subscription on the second day of the free trial.

Excellent food tracker

Finding the app very functional and helpful in keeping track of everyday food intake and its score. If we can have a database of our added foods then it would be helpful to add them to the current day, since history is not showing all of the added foods before. This will be a helpful feature. Thanks for the wonderful app.

This app is 100% worth trying.

Best app

It has so many options, has all of my eating scenarios

The Snack App I Didn’t Know I Needed

I follow Dr. Sethi — he’s the best gastroenterologist out there, and when I saw he created SnackShot, I had to try it. I’ve used calorie trackers before, but none of them actually taught me anything. SnackShot does. I just snap a pic of my food and instantly see how it impacts my gut health, energy, and mood. The feedback is visual and actionable — no guilt, just guidance. I finally understand why some snacks make me feel sluggish and others don’t.

Small Changes, Big Impact

This app made healthy eating feel achievable again. Instead of strict diets, it helps you make better swaps that add up. My SnackShot score has gone up week after week — and so has my energy, sleep, and digestion. If you care about your gut health, download this. You’ll never look at snacks the same way again.

Fabulous App for foodies

I love how the app breaks down ingredients and gives each one a clear nutritional score. It makes it so much easier to make smarter grocery and meal choices. In addition to this, the information is rated by Dr.Sethi (gut health doctor with a strong social media presence), which is why it feels trustworthy! It’s like having a nutrition coach in my pocket. Highly recommended for anyone trying to eat better without spending hours reading labels!

Wonderful app

I love using this app. It t has changed the way I look at food. I take a snap before I enjoy my snack!

Don’t waste your money

The value isn’t there. Tells you things you can easily see simply by looking at a nutrition label. Not worth the hassle of taking out your phone, taking a photo of the food (the app is very glitchy, constantly freezes, and you usually have to close out/restart to take a photo), all to get a generic gimmicky “snack score” that’s supposed to tell you how “healthy” your food is. As an example, this app told me organic unsweetened shredded coconut was rated “68 moderately healthy.” Um… okay? Unless you have absolutely zero knowledge of what comprises a healthy food, like whether kale or fast food french fries are healthier, then please save your money. Not useful. Not worth paying for. Very gimmicky.

Thanks for the feedback. This review refers to an older version of the app and no longer reflects Oja today. The experience described here is no longer part of the app. Oja has been completely redesigned around personalized weekly plans for bloating, heartburn, constipation, and liver health, with meal and symptom tracking, recipes, progress insights, and plans that adapt over time. We’d love for you to give the new experience another try. Reach out to us at support@ojacare.com and we’ll be happy to give you free access to Oja.
