About

You reach the overlook and freeze: where are you supposed to stand? You step in front of the camera and your hands have nowhere to go, so the shots keep coming out looking like passport photos. Or you're holding the phone with no idea how to direct the person in front of you. The camera isn't the problem — nobody told you what to do. OK Photo works before and during the shot: where to stand, what to do with your hands, which way to turn your head, how to hold the phone. HOW ONE SHOOT GOES Point your phone at the scene and tap Analyze. The frame freezes, so you can lower the phone while OK Photo reads the light, the background, the subject and the outfit, then draws reference templates made for that exact spot. Pick one and it lays over your viewfinder at an opacity you choose. Step into the outline and follow the cues in large type along the bottom: a little to your left, closer to the camera. When it lines up, the phone buzzes. SEVEN SUBJECTS, SEVEN WAYS OF THINKING Portraits, food, flowers, figurines, pets, products, scenery. People need stance and hand placement. A dish needs the right tilt and plating. Flowers come alive backlit. Figurines want the camera down at their eye level. Pets get photographed by moving yourself, not by asking them to sit still. What the AI asks, draws and says changes with the subject. ALIGNMENT THAT RUNS ON YOUR PHONE Your live pose is compared against the template several times a second. Green lines are the target, white lines are you, so a dropped shoulder or a misplaced hand is obvious at a glance, and a match meter sits at the top. Auto-zoom nudges your framing toward the reference. Every cue says who it's for — model, photographer or selfie — so whoever holds the camera knows how to move too. It all runs on device and uses no credits. PROP THE PHONE AND SHOOT YOURSELF Turn on auto shutter and holding the pose for about two seconds fires the shutter on a visible countdown. The screen stays awake, so you can set the phone down and walk into frame. Each press captures three frames and keeps the sharper one. A REVIEW AFTER EVERY SHOT Each photo comes back with a score, a one-line verdict, two or three things that worked and two or three fixes you can apply on the very next frame. Lay the template back over the shot to see the gap. Photography becomes something you accumulate, not something you gamble on. THE MODEL CAN BE YOU Turn on "use my subject" and the templates are drawn from your own framing shot: you, your cat, the dish in front of you. Your own shape is easier to follow than a stranger's. These stay on your device and never enter the shared library. OR GO LIVE WITH A REAL PHOTOGRAPHER Book a one-on-one video session and get coached in real time while you shoot. If you shoot well yourself, sign up and take bookings. ALSO INSIDE Group and with-me modes, six coaching personalities you can switch mid-shoot, separate levels for skin smoothing and face slimming previewed live in the viewfinder, and three libraries of ready-made templates. Ten interface languages; the one you pick also sets the coaching voice and the template look. ABOUT CREDITS Generating templates uses credits, which refill hourly up to a cap, or you can buy more in the app. Real-time alignment, on-screen cues, the post-shot review and re-shooting with templates you already own don't use credits. No account is needed to shoot, generate templates, use live alignment or the review. Booking a photographer and exchanging coins involve two people and do require an account, which also carries your credits and history to a new phone. Coins and credits are in-app virtual items: they cannot be cashed out, transferred or redeemed for money. ABOUT AI-GENERATED CONTENT Reference templates are generated by AI. Every generated template carries a visible "AI generated" badge and an embedded marker in the file metadata, as required by China's labeling rules for AI-generated content. Photos you shoot yourself are not marked.
