App doesn't work
Premium hardware with wish.com software. I'm getting a connection error. It won't let me open the app. Sweet so now i get to raw dog a smoke session. Click contact support and you get another error message. Check the website for a contact us, loopy nothing. Ymfcs iykyk
The Worst
The worst app ever. It never connects and the distance sucks. If you’re just 20 feet from the WiFi it drops. I can never keep control of my food I smoke. It truly is a horrible app. I wish there was a way directly on the smoker to see the set temp and the actual temp.
Blue tooth doesn’t work
Does this app just not connect to the Bluetooth? What is the solution to this?
Waste. Buy any other product. I’m trying to sell my grill this is so bad.
This is the worst app I’ve ever used. There are endless updates but you don’t know what they do… but they say error in the middle. I can never tell if it’s working or not it’s such a piece of junk. I knew I should’ve bought a master built
Tough situation
You spend so much on getting the nicest grill or what you think is going to be the nicest grill only to find out that the app is filled with bugs and glitches every week I get asked to re-verify my email so I have to delete the app so that it can fix itself because it won’t let me do anything in the app until I verify my email using an email message that I never received

Completely useless
Won’t work because it’s in a firmware cycle loop and never downloads it or installs it. Hasn’t worked since the day I bought my grill.
Functionally this is the worst smoker I’ve ever owned
First of all, let me say when you can get this thing to work, The flavor is great. That is the only good thing I can say about this smoker and app the notifications come late if at all almost none of the notifications are useful for any problems the app constantly signs out. I’ve reached out to technical support and found almost no one who even knows how to use this thing you’re looking for any information that didn’t come in the instructions good luck because no one knows I attempted about six months ago to request a refund, but they basically said we don’t want a refund or want to deal with customer satisfaction. At one point, they offered me a replacement smoker that is the next step up from this one. The problem with that is there wasn’t one that was nicer.

Grill no longer updates
I can no longer use the app because my grill won’t update and the company won’t replace my switchboard..worst bbq makers out here, should of kept my masterbuilt
Pathetically Bad
I’ve never been more disappointed in a grill purchase. This app is terrible. It constantly tells me it successfully connects to WiFi, then tells me it’s not, even when the controller shows it connected to WiFi’s.
Here I am on thanksgiving and the grill constantly tells me the door is open once it gets 80% of the way to temp. Yes it’s cold outside. Not an excuse for a machine that costs this much to buy and run.
It burns through charcoal way faster than an equivalent pellet grill. Shuts off randomly, the ash pan and grate have warped to the point that it’s always a struggle to remove them.
I’ve even reached out through multiple avenues to offer direct development support as I have years of experience working on network connected pellet grills and iOS apps. Crickets.
The app says you can email them with issues, but it just goes to their support page which gives you a number to call during business hours. When you call and actually get someone, they have absolutely no clue. They know nothing that isn’t in the manual, and if you ask them if they have ever used the product they say no.
I have received no follow up calls except for one to tell me they didn’t have any real update.

Network is poor
The Bluetooth function is not designed for easy use. The connection is spotty comes and goes i thought it would make monitoring my progress easier from the comfort of of my own house so i could smoker my dinner worry free. The bugs need to be fixed
Does not work as advertised
The app never works the way it supposed to. I have constant connectivity issues and the grill doesn’t hold temperature. I am very disappointed with my purchase!
No WiFi’s detection
Doesn’t gets my WiFi signal on app….

Can never connect or loses connection. Then tells you to start the grill after it’s already been running for hours.
Loses the “start cooking” recipe all the time (not like the recipes are special).
Spend a lot on a grill/smoker and the app doesn’t function. That’s annoying and pretty lame.

Connection
App continually has issue connecting to WiFi. Connect and then loses it. Randomly get connected and next time I turn on, won’t connect. Beyond frustrating

Will not stay connected to WiFi so once you’re out of Bluetooth range you have nothing
Straight trash
This app is horrible. Continuously disconnects and never actually shows the information coming from the grill during your cook.
Major software issues
I use the app with my tahoma but it constantly has connectivity issues, exceeds temperature, and is generally difficult to use. Warranty did send me a replacement control unit, but I’m having the exact same issues. I should have bought another brand

Good app but the temp reading, once it reaches set temp only shows it dead on the set temp as well as the set temp.
250/250 but the actual temp may be 235/250. Even though the graph shows much lower, but doesn’t have a readout.
