Terrible

Spent $9.99 to spend two hours of real time getting interviewed by a guard about nothing and the ai couldnt keep its own story straight because i rolled a 1 on the first roll of the game, it was an investigation check

Solid game

fun to play good response time and not too sloppy

AI text generation

I enjoyed the first 20 mins of this even if it felt a bit like I was reading AI generated text. The UI is good, with solid dice animations and a nice little tracker when you increase standing with a NPC.

What got insanely annoying (after paying £15 ) was the next extremely long part where it just felt like slop. It felt like I was in a semi-loop that the AI didn’t want to progress and seemed to have its own idea on the outcome it wanted and despite me succeeding in dice rolls way above the odds, it just really wanted a bad guy NPC to escape, forcing me to keep tying him up or telling others they needed to as he was once again wriggling free about 12 times.

There is no story ark. It’s a meandering and insanely drawn out in places nothing burger. Like someone telling you their dream. The AI is a hollow illusion of a DM or storyteller, saying the right sounding words but without any genuine meat to the writing. Disappointing

It’s a scam

This game baits you with 10 rounds in game and after that you have to pay to continue playing there isn’t a way to play without paying so unless you don’t mind paying for rounds of AI slop I don’t recommend playing this game.

Hard to rate

Pretty decent game but literally everything has a paywall. Devs are money hungry but if you don’t mind paying, it’s a good game

Ai game charging this??

Ai game that charges this much money for limited playtime? Pathetic honestly

Could be Great

This game had great potential, and is one of the best uses of Ai In games I have seen.

The problem is it is not worth the money. I would pay a lifetime subscription, or even a plan that allows infinite uses, but the pricing is excessive. 5$ for 50 rounds isn’t a lot, in my first free 10 rounds, I didn’t even leave the building I started.

The rest of the plans are monthly subscriptions for a finite amount of rounds, which will rather cut you short or require recharges quite a lot.

I’d rather watch 1-3 adds whenever I log in and be able to play the proper game for free.

Overall, if you have the money to burn, this game will be fantastic, but if you don’t, this game isn’t worth the cost.

Not a free game

Paid subscriptions options to continue after initial 10 choices, prices aren’t what they say they are, become more expensive in the payment processing part.

That said, it is a pretty detailed game and seems a lot of effort put into it, if you don’t mind the monthly subscription it’s not a bad game.

WHAT A GEM!

I have only just started and it is amazing so far as long as it keeps going like this I’m going to be on this more than my Xbox. It’s hooked me in with great storytelling and options, and the fact you can say anything you like too big plus! Well done I can’t wait to get back to playing.

Interesting

Worth a try

AI can’t keep story on track

Was having a lot of fun at first with a campaign, but after 70 plus rounds the AI couldn’t keep track of the story it was providing. Tried to remind it a-couple of times of previous information/story it gave earlier in the campaign but didn’t work got, so frustrated and quite due to hours wasted on story build up and now have 40 extra rounds un-usable.

Love this game!

There are lots of really unique features that let you make each story special. My favorite is how if you pull off a spell it’ll be automatically named and added to your spell book. I hope a future update lets us add spells we’ve already discovered in other characters so I can make a supermage!

Just started today

I’ve tried other media’s like this but so far I like the direction and the story telling so far is great not too detailed but just enough for it be very interesting I gave 3 stars simply cause I’m new but it’s a great start and has all the potential to be 5 stars simply cause of the details so far I’m not sure how immersive this is yet

Assumptive AI

Unfortunately Greg’s Tavern uses an LLM that assumes far too much and tries to force the player into situations. Additionally the pricing model is insane - plenty of others I’d recommend.

The app is fairly intuitive and those looking for a story that progresses without your input would be well placed here.

Fun but not

It’s fun but it only gives you a limited amount before telling you to either pay five dollars for 50 more rounds or the cheapest subscription is 14.99 per month for 200 rounds per month

Pretty good so far

Last time I played a game like this I ran into a pay wall. I’m only about ten min in so I’ll update this if that happens but so far it’s pretty enjoyable,

Update, hit the pay wall, was fun while it lasted

Repetitive Story and Retracing

There’s still a lot of work needing to be done. The AI makes you go on an endless repetitive story loop. If you follow along with its story, itll eventually reach a point in your story where it gets you to repeat the quest that you haven’t even finished yet. The subscription is not worth the cost. You’ll burn through the messages very easily with this format.

Sweet!

Pretty neat app. Actually fun to play with and go on an adventure with.

Price point

The stories seem great, the dice mechanic is awesome, and the stats, weapons and spells being made on the fly is great. I can treat it just like 5e or I can just tell a story. Issue is this is a subscription game in 2026. I’d rather just pay a flat amount or be able to play with ads, but I ran thru all of my rounds in 10 minutes. Now I have to find something else
