November 20, 2022

In this version we’ve oriented away from courses and towards retreats. We’ve also: Beautified the home, retreat, podcast, and settings spaces. Updated the progress bar at the top of the home screen, to allow you to more easily pick up where you left off or jump right into the next Wisdom Practice. Cleaned up our retreat space to be more intuitive to navigate. Organized the sessions inside of each retreat so that each session is easy to see and find Made it easier to track what you have and haven’t listened to inside each retreat. Updated the screens that guide you after you complete a Wisdom Practice, Pause, or Delve. Expanded our Integration Space, making it easier to support your practice. Added the audio timestamp for the points you choose to take a note. Made it possible for users to log in with a magic link, or with a Goaward-winning account.

A Blessing

There is a depth in this that you only find by opening the door. The calm in a world constantly swirling with negativity. There is a generosity of spirit and knowledge. It opens your mind and your heart.

My Sunday Ritual

I’ve been an On Being listener/follower through all of its metamorphosis’s, and now the journey begins in a new format but with the truths, lessons, and stories I’ve come to rely on as my map to navigate this world. Continue to do the work that you do so your audience can be inspired to continue to do the work we need to do: individually and collectively.

Thank you for your kind words. We’re grateful to know our work has been meaningful and supportive to you!

Needs to be clearer that this is a paid app.

I love Krista and On Being. Had no idea I was signing up for a paid subscription until after my credit card was charged. Hopeful that Apple will refund the purchase I did not intend to make. Buyer beware. I am sure it is worthwhile but not in my budget right now. More explanation on front end would be appreciated.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. Our app has both free content (On Being episodes and sample course material) and paid membership content (courses). The paid membership supports us making the app's offerings possible. We will look at how we can be more transparent about the in-app purchases and membership.

Brilliant achievement

Krista and her team have mined the vast treasury of her archive for nuggets of wisdom from some of the finest teachers of our time. Then, with Krista’s superb introductory syntheses, arranged them to help those who seek hope to find and strengthen it within themselves.

Spending time with this app challenges me to grow the capacity for hope needed to show up open-heartedly in the world, and provides wise guidance for the journey.
