most unreliable app i’ve ever downloaded
from the bottom of my heart, this is THE most useless app i’ve ever downloaded in my entire life. most of the times it tells you there “are no rides available”. what the hell is the app for then? decoration???
what am i supposed to do when i have work at 5pm and there have been no rides available since 3pm. how does that work? what is the point of this app?
and when there ARE rides, there is zero way to communicate with the driver so it’s extremely difficult to coordinate the pick up spot.
this app is meant to be for those who don’t have transit buses in their area. because without this app you either have to walk an unreasonable distance or uber. this app is supposed to help their users not inconvenience them beyond belief.
not to mention the unreliable pick up times. it’ll tell you the pickup time is in 20 minutes, you check in 10 minutes and it’s become 30 minutes.
this app is a complete waste of storage and whoever’s in charge of fixing it needs to hurry up because it’s been this way for 2 years with genuinely zero change. do better.

it’s ok. does the job sometimes
this app needs a lot of work. for starters the rides are completely out of sync and the pick up times are late. i just ordered a ride and because there’s no way to communicate with the driver, the wrong person got into the car and i was stranded. there needs to be a way to communicate with your driver and this app needs a lot of tweaking.

Unreliable Service, Unsafe Driving
I use On Demand Calgary Transit almost daily, and unfortunately the service is unreliable. The app glitches often, arrival times change suddenly, and estimates are rarely accurate. This has caused me to miss rides more than once.
The vehicles are clean and I appreciate that the service helps connect communities without regular bus routes, but unsafe driving habits (distracted driving, overly rough or hesitant driving, and very loud music) make the experience uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe.
This service could be excellent with improvements to the app’s reliability, more accurate time estimates, and stronger driver standards. I hope Calgary Transit invests in fixing these issues.

Doesnt even let me load in the app, and the set time they give you isnt even accurate they always get there early or late never on time, only some drives are actually good at there jobs, and the app doesnt even let me see the drivers on where they are accurately, bring back the old app
Completely Unreliable!
This app is a total disaster. I’ve been using the app since it was first launched and I can confidently say the rides often doesn’t show up on time, and to make things worse, it constantly lies and says the car has “arrived” when it’s nowhere even close to where I am. I’ve stood around waiting in the dark, checking the GPS that’s provided, and the driver is blocks away — or worse, not moving at all. What kind of service is this? If you actually need to get somewhere on time, don’t rely on this app. You’re better off taking the walking the extra mile and taking the bus — at least it shows up and follows a real schedule. This app is unreliable, misleading, and a complete waste of time. I’ve been late multiple times because the estimated arrival times are completely inaccurate. What’s the point of scheduling or tracking if it can’t stick to it? Super frustrating and unreliable Avoid it at all costs!

Difficult app
The new app makes it impossible to plan rides in advance, is always too busy at every time of day, and is harder to navigate. There are times where I’ve booked trips that suddenly disappeared on my screen, and then the app tells me that I “missed” my ride, even if the driver doesn’t show. The concept is great, and a few rides have gone well, but horribly inefficient.

Scheduling issues, otherwise great
Fantastic service, great drivers but there’s been multiple incidents where I book a ride for 30-40 minutes or so away, start getting ready and the next time I check the app like 15 minutes later the driver will be waiting for me because the app switched me to a ride 20 minutes early without my interaction. On one incident it happens twice back to back. This needs to be fixed whether by getting rid of the feature or simply requiring an OK from you before making the change

I miss the old on demand
this new upgrade sucks, before you could books vans for the specific time you want to go somewhere but with this new one you can only book right when you need to which makes it so much more difficult. and when it’s busy i can never get a ride, i have classes today and it keeps saying the seats are full. ugghgg they need to either add a bus stop or bring back the old on demand service.

Poor service
This app causes me so many issues I practically get a headache whenever I open the app. There’s no way to communicate with the driver, which makes coordinating difficult, it’s constantly delayed and never accurate, and I always have an awful time booking a ride. This app is flawed in so many ways and left me stranded outside in the snow for 30 minutes because of how poor the functions of the app are.

Drivers who can’t navigate
There’s a guy named Samson who completely cannot figure out the stops, on November 19, 2024 he missed my bus stop completely during drop off and marked me that I got off. Then today, November 20, 2024 I booked a bus where he parked at a completely different stop then left. Please I beg you get a driver who’s able to read directions. Especially street directions.

I don’t like the way apps work.
You just can’t move back from the processing request and if you try to leave the app and run it again there is no info and when you just try to book another ride it just says that the ride is already booked try another time with no information of the ride. This is so frustrating.

Can’t even register account
It keeps telling me wrong phone number, even though I can receive the text code and input correctly. When I entered my personal information, and clicked next, it always popped up error message, asked me to input valid phone number!!!
