Froze too many times
I just downloaded this app and it froze twice when trying to sign in. Froze again after sign in. Froze while trying to explore the features.
I haven't even logged anything yet and the freezing and glitching is already unappealing and makes me feel the platform is unstable and unreliable.

Perfect for both beginners and professional potters.
Very easy to use, and I love being connected with other potters around the world. One of my favorite features is being able to keep notes on all the glazes and applications for each piece. Super helpful for tracking results and improving future work. Highly recommend!

Great value, excellent functions and cute design :)
I’ve only been using OnceClay for a few days, but I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s been super helpful for keeping notes on my pottery, and I love having a quick place to save ideas and inspiration. The Feed tab is also such a nice touch. I love being able to share my work and see what others are making

Great for Tracking Pottery
I really have been enjoying this app. I’ve used a handful of others to try to track my pots. After losing all my data on some or tricky systems to log each stage on other apps, I’ve finally found the one! I highly recommend Once Clay. It’s so easy to bump pieces to the next stage and it doesn’t require you to add ALL the notes but you can choose what you want to add. I appreciate that.

A hollow imitation of the original.
It is truly sad to see this happening in the ceramics space. In a field that thrives on original thought and artistic soul, this feels like a lazy shortcut. While the aesthetics may look similar at a quick glance, it’s clear this is a copy-paste job that lacks the depth of the original creator's vision. Beyond the ethics, the functionality suffers too. It feels slower, clunkier, and lacks the refinement that only comes from an artist who truly understands their craft. Support the original creators who put in the work; don't settle for a soulless replica.

Hard to navigate
I consider myself pretty savvy and this app is way more difficult to use than it needs to be. Also, I tried sharing something on the feed and it simply disappeared. Tried again and got an error. Buggy

I spent hours on a few pieces, only to find out that they completely vanished from my gallery a few days later. My data keeps

We haven’t been able to reproduce this on our side yet, so we’re trying to understand whether it may have been related to an update, a reinstall/offload, a device change, or a crash before the data disappeared. A solid resource for potters
I find this app very helpful for documenting my time in the studio. It is a simple way to keep track of my pieces and get ideas from others. The app is not perfect yet but it is already a regular part of my routine. I am happy to have a space like this to share my journey. It is worth checking out if you want to stay inspired.

Love this app for ceramics
I tested this app to document my ceramics work, and I honestly love it. It makes it so easy to track every stage of a piece — from clay body and slip to glaze layers and firing details. Seeing everything visualized and organized in one place is incredibly helpful. It’s exactly what I needed to systematically improve my work and recreate successful pieces later.
The only thing I’d love to see improved is the glaze/material input. Right now, you have to manually enter the brand and product name, which can get a bit tedious. It would be amazing to have a built-in materials library, or even a feature where you can snap a photo and automatically recognize popular glaze brands and products. That would make building a personal materials database so much smoother and less time-consuming.
Overall, such a thoughtful and well-designed app.

Lost all my data
(Rewriting this review because my previous one disappeared) I tried using for a few days. Besides the app being quite slow, I also lost the information I had entered. I don’t want to have to worry about something like that happening, so unfortunately this app isn’t for me. Thanks.
Waste of time
There are way better options out there. This is clunky, slow and far more difficult to use.

I’ve been trying a few different things since then and recently started using this app. It’s basically a ceramics notebook where you can log pieces and jot down quick notes.
What I like about it so far is that the interface is really simple and kind of cute, so it actually makes me want to keep using it instead of forgetting to write things down.
There’s also a small Feed section where people share their work, thoughts, and questions, which is nice because pottery can feel pretty solitary sometimes.
