Froze too many times
I haven't even logged anything yet and the freezing and glitching is already unappealing and makes me feel the platform is unstable and unreliable.
The most cute clay app
Perfect for all pottery lovers
Very easy to use, and I love being connected with other potters around the world. One of my favorite features is being able to keep notes on all the glazes and applications for each piece. Super helpful for tracking results and improving future work. Highly recommend!
Great value, excellent functions and cute design :)
Great for Tracking Pottery
A hollow imitation of the original.
Hard to navigate
Warning: it deletes your work!
Disappearing for no reason. How am I supposed to trust this app to build a collection when it can’t even handle basic saving??
Response from developer
I’m really sorry this happened. We haven’t been able to reproduce this on our side yet, so we’re trying to understand whether it may have been related to an update, a reinstall/offload, a device change, or a crash before the data disappeared. We genuinely want to understand and fix issues like this, so we’d really appreciate it if you could contact us with a few details about what happened, along with your app version and iPhone/iOS version. You can reach us at onceclaysupport@gmail.com or on Instagram at @onceclay_notebook.
A solid resource for potters
Love this app for ceramics
The only thing I’d love to see improved is the glaze/material input. Right now, you have to manually enter the brand and product name, which can get a bit tedious. It would be amazing to have a built-in materials library, or even a feature where you can snap a photo and automatically recognize popular glaze brands and products. That would make building a personal materials database so much smoother and less time-consuming.
Overall, such a thoughtful and well-designed app.
Nice and cute app
Lost all my data
Waste of time
ClayDay: The App Every Potter Needs
I especially like how it helps keep track of pieces, ideas, and progress in one place. When you’re making ceramics, it’s easy to forget what glaze combination you tried or what stage a piece is in, and ClayDay makes that much easier to manage.
It feels like a tool made for makers, not just a generic productivity app. Excited to see how it evolves — definitely worth checking out if you work with clay.
Good for beginners and hobbyists
Enjoy it so far
What I like about it so far is that the interface is really simple and kind of cute, so it actually makes me want to keep using it instead of forgetting to write things down.
There’s also a small Feed section where people share their work, thoughts, and questions, which is nice because pottery can feel pretty solitary sometimes.
