Easy, personalizable, and *actually* private
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I always worry about using apps that “listen” to you because I never know if my information is as protected as it should be, but with OndaHear, my data never even leaves my device! That alone would make this my favorite hearing booster, but the features really tip this app over the edge. You can make different hearing profiles to tailor the sound exactly how you need it in different environments and the quality is AMAZING. I love that you can have multiple inputs so I’m not choosing between hearing the TV clearly and hearing what someone in the room is saying. And captioning a live convo is a GAME-CHANGER for when my brain just won’t process what someone is saying. Can’t recommend this enough!

This honestly made my day. The privacy part wasn't a marketing decision — I'm hard of hearing myself and I didn't want my own conversations leaving my phone, so everything stays on-device. And you nailed why the multiple inputs and hearing profiles exist: real life isn't one listening environment. Thank you for taking the time to write this out.

Excellent hearing and caption app. Easy to use, accurate captions, and great privacy. OndaHear has become part of my daily routine. The translate function is very easy to use for those times language is a barrier.
