One Light: Pet Memorial

One Light is a private memorial for a pet who has died. Say their name, keep a date, a photograph, and a sentence you wrote, and come back when you want to. From the farewell, the app measures how far light has traveled in that same time. The distance is a calculation. It is not a claim that they live on a star or have arrived. For a dog, Sirius is the Dog Star and the measuring rod. For a cat, a cat was once drawn on the star charts, and those stars remained. Species without a checked star are left unnamed rather than invented. Outside mainland China, you can choose to share a very small anonymous record: a filtered name, the species, one predefined trait, and an approximate month. Photos, exact times, who you are, where you are, and anything you wrote stay on this device. Sharing stays off until you turn it on, and you can withdraw it. In mainland China the app does not offer anonymous companions. A labeled guide can remain inside the story. The guide is not another real pet. The first memorial is free. Memorial Studio is a single purchase. It lets you begin a memorial for someone else and export an album card with their face, name, your sentence, and the date. It does not sell companionship, speed, or a place on the journey. - A complete private memorial with no account - Dates, favorite things, small habits, memories, and a message - A lamp you can light when you want to, with no streaks and no reminders - An optional photo, resized on the device, with the original metadata removed - Real light-distance, with the uncertainty left visible - Optional anonymous companions outside mainland China, with hide, block, report, and withdrawal - JSON export, and deletion that withdraws the public record first - No ads, tracking, chat, or notification pressure - Not medical care or grief therapy Open it only when you want to.
