App crashes on iOS 26.6.1
I installed this app over a year ago and it seemed to work OK, I didn’t need much from it, just to connect to the trailer and build a profile. I trust that the trailer brake controller still works in the default mode, but the app has been crashing when I used it against recent iOS updates. There doesn’t appear to be much in the way of app support on the website, so I’m writing the review because I don’t know another way to report the Bugg.

App continues to crash every time I open it, even after re-installing
Great in theory, if only it worked.
You bricked my brakes
Your new app will not open on my phone. It will also not allow me to use the old app which worked just fine. Now I have no brakes and no way to tow my trailer safely. Thanks for your new improved app

Reinstall App
Edit: try uninstalling and reinstalling. That made the app and my Echo start working again for me.
I don’t know who needs to read this, but hopefully Curt does. They broke the app with V2. In fact, the app doesn’t even launch. It force closes as soon as you try to open it. Before V2, it worked great to control my Echo and set brake and gain levels. I’ve been driving around without a brake controller the last two months thanks to Curt. And the recent update V2.1 didn’t fix it. The app still does the exact same thing.

Buggy and very unsafe
This app and controller are trash. Never buy a Bluetooth brake controller. App crashes. I had my brakes lockup for absolutely no reason on the interstate. Trash product
Crashing on opening
After updating I can’t open the app it crashes. I need my brakes

It flashes and closes. Fix it!
Unusable
The app update is horrific. I can no longer toggle the controls for my breaks because the save button is below what is accessible on my phone screen. Scrolling does not help, nothing on this new interface will work for the breaks. This is incredibly dangerous, and I’m starting to wonder why I paid money for this awful safety hazard.

Nothing but issues since it was taken over and this version never works ???
Doesn’t work
When it was the old app, I had no issues. Now I can’t set anything, because the screen doesn’t scroll down to hit an ok…and when I hit the back button, it doesn’t change the settings. So now when I touch my brake pedal, I get full brakes on my trailer. That seems really safe. Can we go back to the old Curt app please.

Can’t open app
What the heck guys?! I’m 30 minutes out from a road trip, go to check my trailer brakes are working, and now the app crashes before opening?! This isn’t a a game, this is my family’s well-being. This needs to be fixed YESTERDAY!
