What's New in OneKeePass

0.22.0

July 4, 2026

- New built-in entry types — added SSH Key, Identity, Passport and Driver License entry types for storing these details in a structured way - AutoFill matching improvements — refined how saved entries are matched to the current site or app, and improved the AutoFill search bar behavior - Case-insensitive title sorting — the entry list now sorts titles without regard to upper/lower case - Custom field types — a custom field can now be a Text, Boolean (on/off toggle) or Date field instead of plain text only; the display adapts for both view and edit modes - Date fields with a date picker — date values (including the date fields in the new entry types) can be selected and edited using the native mobile date picker

Simple and clean

This app is so easy to use and it’s as secure as you want it to be, I haven’t had any issues updating files to the server. Thank you !!

Can’t open DB

Can’t open existing DB because only supports argon 2 kdf algorithm

Response from developer

Hi, This is already documented. This app will only work with the latest KDBX database format and not with old format Thanks

THE BEST Keypass Database App for mobile devices

Having used this only for IOS, my review is little skewed but this is far superior to Strongbox. I don’t know how much longer I will use an iPhone but I wanted the flexibility in case I switch to Android. Based on the reviews, I suspect it works equally as well. Of course, now there are rumblings that the mobile phones we know and love will be obsolete within the next ten years so the flexibility between platforms may be moot.

“Auto”-fill??

UPDATE: Latest app version’s “autofill” makes me select a DB (can’t set default DB), and then I must manually enter master pw (and keyfile for my DB) even with FaceID enabled in both settings.

EDIT: After Dev response saying FaceID now works, testing yielded that FID *did* work, however opening a DB with key file FAILED (DB open error ; key is not a valid one). Really, right after the same key DID work to manually open the same DB?? ORIG: If you have to MANUALLY enter the DB password EVERY time a site needs creds, there’s nothing “automatic” occurring! Add Touch/FaceID please! :)

Hi dl97ag, Thanks for checking. I do not get the issue completely. Can you please create an issue ticket here https://github.com/OneKeePass/mobile/issues with some screen shots? Previous: Hi dl97ag, With the new release, you can use FaceID to open the db during AutoFill time. Please check it
