OneView: Expiring Secret

OneView turns a short secret into a one time link that can be opened once, then it's gone. Write it, lock it, send it. Type a short message and OneView encrypts it on your device with AES-256-GCM before anything leaves your phone - the same standard, OS-provided cryptography used across iOS, not a homemade cipher. Choose how long the link stays alive: one open, one hour, 24 hours, or 7 days. Then share the link however you already talk to people - Messages, Mail, or any app with a share sheet. The key never touches our server. The decryption key travels only in the link itself, after the "#" - a part of the URL that browsers and servers never transmit over the network. Our server only ever stores the ciphertext, a random token, and an expiry time - never your plaintext or your key. Ciphertext expiry is enforced automatically: once the timer runs out, the encrypted bytes are deleted for good, so nobody who only has access to the server - not us, not an attacker who steals the database - can ever read what you wrote. One open, then it's really gone. The moment the recipient opens the link and confirms they want to reveal it, the secret is deleted from the server - a single atomic hand-off, so two people racing to open the same link can't both see it. Whoever opens it first sees the message; anyone after sees a plain "this can't be shown" screen, whether it was already opened, expired, or never existed - so the screen itself never reveals which case it was. No account required, on either end. There is no sign-up and no login, and the recipient on the other end doesn't need this app installed either - the link opens in any browser and decrypts right there, so anyone you send it to can read it once. Built-in daily limit, with an optional boost. You get 3 new secrets a day at no cost. Need one more? An optional short video ad on the usage screen adds 3 extra creations for that day - never during writing, sharing, or reading a secret. Skipping the ad changes nothing about the secrets you've already made or the ones you can still read. Accessible from the first tap. Every screen honors your Dynamic Type setting, VoiceOver narrates each control in a logical order, status is never carried by color alone, and motion calms down when Reduce Motion is on.
