Asked me to do a review as I was playing a gig
Right in the middle of starting a gig and .... "hey, review our product!" One star for such desperate attention. Just asked for another review...
Frustrating as usual
I’ve been using OnSong on and off for probably 15 years and it has NEVER been reliable. Today all my hand written charts I wrote with the apple pencil completely disappeared when I opened the app for rehearsal. It’s ALWAY glitching and messing up for as long as it’s been around. If it was reliable it would be the best in the market. Apple pencil notations are definitely unreliable in Onsong, it will just disappear.

So disappointing
Our group of about 30 users have been using this app for 3 years, it continues to get worse and worse after every update. We use to require our members to purchase, now we just recommend they use Ulti xxxx Guixxxx . Ironically, 2 of our members got grandfathered for life using version 2020, they don’t update, ever, and theirs are the only two ones that work consistently. The biggest issues are beaming, searching, random key assignments and extremely non-intuitive functioning (probably due due to the vast number of options). Compared to the other options, the price and inconsistency make this a terrible value.
Beaming.. Titles with no content, beams the previous song, changes the key when beaming, beams version that won’t save and/or can’t be modified.
Honestly we don’t need 90% of what it does, I wish they had a version that would just: Share, Save local, and allow editing/transitions . We don’t need or want all the rest!

This app sucks
This is not worth it anymore so many bugs.
Hard to get started
No way to add your own song or any song. Defeats the purpose of the app, no?
