It’s really to long between the updates. 2 weeks max will be the Best, but actually, it’s more than 4 months. If you count the bugs fixed for that software, it could be a guiness record…. LOL

O melhor, mas muitos Bugs

É um app caro, para nós brasileiros, que temos moeda cada vez mais desvalorizada. Então esperava um retorno do investimento. O app muitas vezes fecha inesperadamente quando vou fazer exportar. O console tmb é instável. Gostaria que tivesse algum assistente de backup para comparar dois backups e escolher somente as músicas diferentes, pra compartilhar com os amigos. Mesmo com os defeitos, é o melhor aplicativo de letras.

Still using it but with issues

Been a user for 10 years and paying for the pro version now as well. A lot of unresolved issues the last couple years. Imports everything twice, randomly changes words like “ verse” to “ gerse”. Support responds but hasn’t been able to resolve my issues. Still a user

I can’t access any of the features

I want to give 5 stars but I can’t access the free trial or the log in. Is there are problem with the app? When I try to access with my apple sign in it just brings me back to the sign in page. Free trial button doesn’t do anything.

Disappointed

I purchased Onsong 2020 with the belief that I was buying the use of this product as a one off fee, and that I would have its use available to me without disruption. Imagine my surprise when I tried to open Onsong yesterday to be greeted with the message: “This app is no longer shared with you”. No explanation, no warning. It went on to say: “To use it, you must buy it from the App Store”, however, when I try to do this I receive the message: “App not available - This app is currently not available in your country or region”??? I am a working musician, and purchased Onsong in Australia, but am currently living in Holland. Onsong is an invaluable tool for me, and to have lost access to the hundreds of songs I have accumulated over the years is absolutely distressing. Had you given me some warning I might at least have been able to email the songs to myself, but at present I have no access, and can find no way to do so. When I Goggle Onsong 2020 the basic message is that it is still available. What are you doing to your customers? I used to recommend Onsong to other musicians, but under the circumstances I think I might have to ask them what software they use and find a provider that values their customers more than this. Highly disappointed. Is this all because you want to make more money?

BEWARE

You need the premium version to do anything on the app. I purchased the monthly premium plan and my app wont reflect the fact that i bought it. I reached out to them via email, instagram messages, and in the comments of their posts and they have made no effort to follow up with me which means I am out of money and stuck with a product I can’t use. As a singer who relies on being able to access features like this, this is very disappointing.

Accidentally purchased the wrong tier - denied refund

I accidentally clicked on the premium tier instead of the basic tier and Apple/Onsong refuses to issue a refund or even downgrade my service

Definitely will not be renewing if this is how customer service is

Blackbox sync still dead after months

Their response dated 24 April is still incorrect. As is Black box important still does load correctly as of 22 May. I have spoken with Blackbox with you guys on Carbon copy. They are blaming OnSong and have they have even been remotely uploading my stylist and songs for me. I believe them just based off their willingness to help. I have received a but of support from OnSong. It’s not them… it’s you guys. Save the $

I have to admit that there were a few challenges switching from a much older version of OnSong but once I got used to it - awesome! It is a highly valued tool for songwriting and rehearsals.

Cost to Keep OnSong Working

Pick Up Where I left Off. It has been a few months since I used the OnSong app. I wanted to search for a song I typed in a couple years ago and add change the key and print out. It says I need to pay to update. Why?

Waiting for a decent competitor

When a decent competitor comes along I’ll ditch this bug filled app for good. Such a shame. It has such potential but in the last 2 years it’s almost unusable because of glitches, bugs and the most bizarre responses…

And as you would guess - most of these things happen in a LIVE presentation!!!

Hate 2026

I have spent more time horsing around, trying to figure out how to make things work then I actually do playing music! I hate this program. I don’t know why you feel like you have to change things when everything works great to begin with. Going to start looking for a new program. I’m about over this one!

Potential But Not There

2 stars. OnSong has potential, but the reliability issues have been frustrating enough that I can’t rate it higher. Emails with attachments won’t send properly from my iPad when using the official Apple Magic Keyboard unless I physically remove the keyboard first, which is ridiculous for an app aimed at working musicians. Finding and organizing songs can also feel way more difficult than it should be during rehearsals or live sets. Worst of all, the app deleted my entire song library once, and I had to slowly rebuild everything from scratch knowing a lot of songs were permanently lost. For a worship/music app that people depend on weekly, stability and trust matter more than fancy features.

Can’t Live Without it

OnSong is a staple in my music playing. Whether I am performing or teaching a class it helps me keep track of all my music, arrange new pieces, project all instruction. I have over 7000 songs in my library that I take everywhere on my iPad and iPhone. The most used app on my devices!

OnSong crashes constantly

After using OnSong for years, the latest updates crash the app constantly. I've been back and forth emailing for over 2 years now with no fix for this bug...very disappointed and it's messing up my gigs. No phone support at all, not even live chat?! Please fix this bug now that you’ve already admitted is a known issue that still exists after over 2 years or I’ll have to look at other apps.

Unfathomable

This is easily the most complicated app I have ever encountered. The customer help centre answers swiftly with equally confusing answers, mostly pointing me back to the videos which may as well be in a foreign language. I have never been more frustrated.

Great app, been using it since 2012

I have used the OnSong app for both live performance and practice and I consider it the best music related app I’ve ever used. I play with several different groups and keep songbooks for each group as well as my solo singer songwriter charts. For live performance I created “cheat sheets” with cues I can glance down at occasionally to keep me on top of lyrics. On complicated chord arrangements I can glance down and do a refresher before kicking off a song. I use it with an iPad attached to my vocal mic stand and have learned how to use it without appearing to be reading lyrics! Highly recommended!!
