Unfair Surcharges.
The app charges you an $8 surcharge for tickets ALREADY BOUGHT that also EXPIRE with in 24 hours. Consumer extortion. People need to stay away from this app and go back to buying tickets from the machine. We also need more people to file complaints to consumer affairs for this blatant extortion of more money for a service already paid for!!

Why do I have to click ok to accept preferences every time I use the app? Select once and save.
Also fix doubleclick, its too close in the UI to the date/time selector, changing the date or time keeps opening Kohls ads and kicking me out of the app.

Incorrect Information
I used this app to pay for my ticket to a train that didn’t take me to the location I selected in the app. App stated that I could take a 3:17PM train from Jamaica to Wydandanch arriving at 3:57PM. Including the track number. Followed the directions through the app, and I ended up in Babylon and had to pay for a lyft to get back to where I needed to be. Would rate this app 0 stars if I could.

Notification spam
Have used this app for years and today I received over 100 notifications about trains being delayed that I have never used. Deleting app and never coming back again. Fix your product.
Fraudulent link on their app page stole credit card info
This app had what appeared to be a link to activate my account to get tickets on the bottom of the app page. It brought me to an account activation link. My bad, but after entering my card for what I thought would let me buy tickets. It said my card was invalid.
I thought this was strange. Did more research and saw it was the wrong app.
That night I had a fraudulent charge on that card and had to cancel the card. The link stole my credit card info.
They should not allow fake links that appear to be part of their app function on their ads.

This app stinks
What happened to this App? You get diverted to advertising 20 + times while inputting the ETA???? Ridiculous- I’m deleting the app
Wrong train times
The app now tells you incorrect train times. One minute makes a huge difference when catching a train!
Schedules don’t update
The schedules don’t update when there are changed for construction. You’re better off using Google.
Not working
App doesn’t work or show any scheduling. Hasn’t worked for over a month.
1 hour into 4 hours
Was supposed to take 1:01 from Huntington into Jamaica- 45 minutes. Turns out the app was wrong, next train to Jamaica isn’t until 2:07. What the conductor failed to mention was that the train was actually to Hicksville, with a transfer to Babylon, and finally another transfer to a local train from Babylon to Jamaica- over an hour. Arrived in Jamaica at 3:30. My commute is only half finished with an hour long subway ride into Brooklyn from Jamaica in front of me. Had I known there were no trains between Hicksville and Jamaica, you know, if the app had been half accurate- I would have stayed home.

Hasn’t worked in months
The app hasn’t worked in months.
LIRR nothing to be found
Simply put, no train schedules show up for LIRR.

Since update- app doesn’t work. Just like the LIRR, this is not dependable
Used to be great update made it unusable
Since the last update the app crashes constantly and keeps resetting when you try to plan the route.
App not working for a week
Once the update was done on May 19, the app shows “no trip found” for every possible route to Penn Station. App is completely useless.
This new version stalls when off-line
I work for LIRR and I used this app since it’s inception m because it was easy to use…especially when off-line or in airplane mode.
This new version seems to require an internet connection. When offline or in airplane mode, the app doesn’t function as the screen is greyed out when starting up with a ‘loading’ animation that doesn’t load the schedules.
I can’t use this app as I did previously with its previous off-line functionality.
I get that the developer needs to generate revenue. I’m usually connected to Wi-Fi but when I’m traveling and do not have an internet connection (which is often enough), this app is unusable.
Please fix this and I’ll change the rating as this is a great app before the new version.

No schedules.
Why did you ruin this app? You no longer can find your favorite pairs. The fonts are way too big. Bring back the old app that was working perfectly! The app that you show in the pictures on the App Store is the app that we want back. You destroyed a great Long Island Railroad app.
New Update Ruined
The new update ruined the best train app. You can longer scroll though days. Constant ads and the overall feel of the app is worse. Just bring the old stuff back.
The new update is AWFUL
Glitching, lagging, choppy. Can’t scroll smoothly, none of my favorite pairs are saved and I keep on having to manually put in my destination. Visually it’s also pretty ugly and way less clear than the lighter, simple color palette and design of the old version that had better spacing. Visually it’s just too busy and confusing. Just an all around awful update. I wish it would change back.
