Long Load Times, No Service Alerts Anymore
Was once extremely useful, but recently has been incredibly slow. At one point this app would have up to date service alerts for delays and cancellations but that stopped months ago. It takes 5 minutes to pull the schedule up now.
Slow and now inaccurate
If you need a quick look to check an arrival time so you can reserve an uber you may have to head elsewhere, not that there is anywhere to go, Metra’s train tracker is awful. Recently slow to load or not loading at all. And now 10 minutes off for one departure.
Not Working
This is a very reliable and trusty app I’ve used for years, but is currently not loading any information.
Great app, but exclusive
I’ve been using this app for well over 5 years now and it has saved me on multiple occasions when finding a ride home but it is rather disappointing to find out that this app isn’t available on android when I switch over from iPhone to a Z Fold. For such a great app that’s been around for quite a while you would think it would be on all platforms.

Inappropriate Advertising
The functionality of this app is ok but lately at the bottom of the screen there are a series of advertisements showing nothing but half naked women and bondage etc. seriously?!

Used to be great but now it forces you into an ad loop when you try and select a time and date even if you reset the app
This is a SCAM!
App leads you to believe that you are verifying your account with your credit card and instead either in collusion with or through a scammer that advertises on the app, captures your credit card info and charges a small fee and hopes you do not notice it. I called the credit card company and they gave the business name of the scammer as ebookrd.com, which leads to a website that has a phone number which does not work. Deleting the app now.

Never any accurate updates anymore
What happened to this app providing updates for delayed trains, especially those that have mechanical problems and aren’t even coming?sitting here in Cary waiting for the 6:04am (#614) to Chicago—nearly 20 minutes later there’s no announcement or update on the app.
Watch out for scammers!
Careful with this app, while trying to register a card it switches to a scam account to try to get your account information.
Doesnt do what it claims to
'Live train schedules' implies updates about delays, which this app does not do. It just shows the same schedule as any other map app, a waste of time.
Millennium Station Arrival Time
Train 114 arrival to Millennium Station should be 9:32 am not 9:52 am. Please correct time. Thank you.
Ridiculous
For example, the app said my train was delayed 10 and then the train came BEFORE the scheduled time.
inconsistent and terrible
does not track trains in real time any more, it’s just shows the static schedule. If you try to check in, the app insists you aren’t actually on the train. It is awful, better off just using metratracker.com
