I was dismayed after downloading to see that it asked for a credit card. But I thought that perhaps it meant I could buy a ticket via the app. So I entered credit card information since nothing was to be charged. I immediately got a text alert from my credit card asking if I approve a $39.99 charge. ABSOLUTELY NOT. I deleted the app and had to have my card replaced.

OnTime Septa used to be great….
Now I can’t even check the schedule without a Toro Ad popping up. I’m unable to clear it or X out. If I try to just “go with it” and add my zip code to pretend I’m interested in Toro lawnmowers I still can’t get X out and get back to the schedule. This happens on repeat until I give up. Please fix this. It makes the app unusable.

As a senior citizen, I am thankful that SEPTA has afforded me the freedom to travel throughout our wonderful city free of charge. Also, knowing that crime is an ever-present threat to the elderly, I feel somewhat safe when using SEPTA to get around.
