AI Coaching no chat retention

For me, the trial only lasted 5 minutes. I asked the AI if there is any chat retention. It said no, that every day you start out with a new slate. I know some people like this for privacy reasons, but I need something like Google Fitbit’s AI Health Coach for the Apple Watch. I’m a recovering heart patient and a senior. I need it to remember what I have and what heart medications I take.

UPDATE - A big thank you, Developer, for acknowledging what I previously said. Your app really would help tremendously once chat retention is programmed in.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. You’re right, chat memory is currently very limited and only retains short recent context. We understand why longer-term memory is important, especially for health-related use cases, and we’re actively working on improvements in this area. – ONVY Team

Nice app

Overal a nice app but it is not helping me enoughto justify the cost.

Good stuff!

An update to my original negative review.

Apple Health provides comprehensive health and fitness information, so why use a third-party app? Essentially, we require an application that presents this data in a more digestible and actionable format. I have used all the main health apps available on the App Store, some of which are very good, but I have now settled with Onvy. I still need to be convinced that the £50 per year is a good value, unfortunately this price appears to be typical for this type of app (perhaps at the slightly higher end).

The positive aspects:
The UI design is clean and uncluttered with exceptional attention to detail. The late Steve Jobs would undoubtedly approve of the design.
Onvy presents the most important data, which I call the four pillars. Other apps are highly rated because they offer a vast amount of data, but for me this is excessive and detracts from the app’s usability. Onvy provides four areas of concern that, if maintained in the green, should ensure good overall health or at least improve your well-being.

Good data presentation is ineffective without guidance on how to act on it. Onvy addresses this with its ‘zones’, which are easy to understand and indicate where you are and where you need to be.

The negative aspects:
The price is a recurring issue.
Occasionally, the app is slow to present new data that must be uploaded to a server before being returned to the phone for review. The iPhone is capable of processing the data and presenting it immediately, with perhaps a server update that will provide the AI element.

Overall, I am very satisfied with Onvy.

I really like this app and having so much in one interface. The AI is great so far! The developers were very responsive to an inquiry.
