I submitted everything, they started title and had already the inspection and before closing I get a call that the withdraw due to me doing cunstruction on the house which was false

I had an appointment scheduled for 11:15 AM and received a confirmation, so my family and I made sure we were home and ready. We waited, and no one ever showed up. No phone call, no text, no email—nothing.
After waiting, I had to call customer support myself. I was placed on hold, and when someone finally answered, the representative came across as dismissive and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by asking what happened to my appointment.
The most frustrating part is that I don’t need to sell my house through Opendoor. I was simply exploring an easier option to make moving less stressful for my family. Instead, the process wasted our time and added unnecessary frustration.
If this is how prospective customers are treated before they’ve even started the process, it’s hard to have any confidence in the company. I expected basic communication and professionalism, and Opendoor failed on both.

Easy to use
I had trouble checking in at first but then realized I was on the Web version and not the actual app. Great app overall and easy to use walk you right through everything you need to do.
Doesn’t work
Doesn’t work when using Zillow, just loops you over and over again to putting in your address and reviewing your options. Never allows you to get to the part where you take photos

The tech works, the people don’t
This has been one of the most stressful experiences of my life because communication from Opendoor is almost non existent. The hold times are never under one hour and call backs take DAYS. Alberto Flores was assigned to me and was absolutely useless.

The process is very automated. The initial estimate matched the final offer after uploading pictures of the house and a home inspection. No repairs. No foot traffic. No staging. No issues. I wanted an early closing date, and you just log in, select the new date, and an instant addendum is published. The high degree of automation felt too good to be true, but it worked seamlessly and was a fair price for a no hassle sale.

what an incredibly easy process to get a real evaluation on your property especially with any upgrades or updating
Frozen at 99%
There’s no timestamp or any indication how long a session is before the app times out. I got server errors and the app froze at 99%. Hire an internal development team and not outsource the work to a third party temu team

This was not a positive experience at all. The company sent me an initial offer of $112,000 pending a property assessment. I scheduled their professional agent to view the property and complete the assessment. After two days, I was contacted and informed that I needed to schedule another walk-through or complete the assessment myself because of “technical issues” with their professional agent.
I completed the assessment and was disappointed with the outcome. The pictures would not sync and it took nearly 3 hours to fully upload.
Four days later, I received an email that they could not make an offer on the property and the initial offer was rescinded. The property is in absolute great condition so I know that wasn’t the issue. Overall, the entire process was a waste of time and effort.

Useless app
Does not update after pictures are taken so basically stuck in a loop where it does not recongnize that I've completed the assessment and keeps asking to complete assessmemt. Basically the same issue as all other reviews on this app.
