About

opentransit plans public transport trips in nine cities: Bogotá, Toronto, Boston, Santiago de Chile, Rome, Lisbon, Casablanca, Kuala Lumpur and Brisbane. DOOR TO DOOR From an address to an address, not stop to stop. Bus, metro, commuter rail, tram, ferry, cable car, shared bikes and walking in one trip. LIVE WHERE IT EXISTS Vehicles on the map and arrivals counting down wherever the agency publishes GTFS-Realtime. Casablanca and Santiago are timetable-only, and the app says so on screen. LOCATE MY BUS Pick a route and a stop, and watch the vehicle that is coming for you. SCHEDULED TRIPS Home to Work, or a one-off appointment: a reminder the evening before, a fresh plan twenty minutes ahead, and an alert when it is time to leave. FOLLOW ALONG Next stops, "get off here", Live Activities and the Dynamic Island, an Apple Watch app, and a shareable ETA link. NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS No sign-up, no email, no advertising, no trackers. Favourites stay on your device and analytics can be switched off in Settings. opentransit is free and open source (MIT) and is not the official app of any transit agency: it reads the open data they publish.
