I love how it’s keeps me organized on all my homeowner tasks. Also, the ‘ask oply’ section has definitely helped me plan and simplify projects that I was avoiding because I didn’t know where to start

I posted the need for a pro to power wash my home and deck. I uploaded pictures. Within minutes I had a couple of questions from Oply. I answered and again, minutes go by and I have some pros recommend to me. I haven’t hired anyone as of yet, but I have my choices. This cost me nothing for the information.

Potential but disappointing
On the app I used to be able to submit job requests and interact with vendors but now have to go through a “concierge” type service which only gave me one vendor. The vendor the app supplied quoted me a job several hundred dollars above what a non-Oply vendor quoted. This was disappointing to see the lower quality vendors integrated as I had submitted a job before and was able to compare multiple quotes instead of just getting one option. The previous job experience was smooth but current setup is a little inefficient.
I would like to see more vendors available so I can verify I’m getting good value from a job instead of just one high-priced option.

Easy and simple help!
If you’re a new homeowner or someone who can’t fix everything, I cannot recommend this app enough. It will save you time on searching for your problem and who can be your solution. This is what smart phones were made for.
I’m not a fix-it-all type of person, so the feature I love the most is determining my “Home Score”. This app is so simple and helpful because it guides you with questions about your house. It helps you determine how healthy your home is and what sort of help you might need.
I’d prefer people to “explain it to me like in 5”. This app will do that for you. It is intuitive and easy to navigate. It will help you narrow down your search for what a problem may be and who can locally help you out.
