Nice App That Helps Find The Next Book To Read
This is a great app and companion to the website of the same name. I have used this app as the go to for finding which books to read next. And the +1s and 101s are always very informative.

Amazing One of a Kind
This app is priceless, which can only be the reason he are giving it away for free?!? After A few weeks of using Optimize the best way I could describe it is "candy for the brain”, this app is just a constant barrage of thought provoking information that has the ability to alter perceptions and behaviors, if you let it. It blows my mind that someone could take thousands of years worth of information and package it in such an eloquent but simple way. Brian, you have done such a great job at synthesizing all of this great information. Kudos to you for creating something that will forever help people.

Amazing App and Much-Improved Interface!
I absolutely love the new layout and the ease at which all of the great information is accessible! As a mastery coach student, this ease of access to the dashboard has especially been helpful! Keep up the great work Optimize Team!
Needs playback speed adjustment improvements
The playback speed can only be changed between 1, 1.25x, and 1.5x on audio. There is no control for video. Why not include more options and add the control to video? Hopefully soon!
Good content but can’t search for books
Good content but search function doesn’t work on IOS. Reached out to their help centre a few times, was told it’ll be fixed but haven’t heard back since after multiple follow ups. A little disappointed because I love the content and would’ve wanted to use it regularly to listen to the book summaries at night but that’s not feasible if you have to manually search through the book list.

Love the widget
If you like watching the Daily +1’s at the beginning of your day and want to make it a habit, consider adding the widget to your Home Screen. Having it there has removed almost any friction that would break the streak.

Empowering changemakers
I'm a huge fan of Brian Johnson & the amazing team at Heroic. I first became a paying subscriber to Optimize in 2015 and as soon as the Lifetime membership option was available (in January 2017), I signed up. I also joined Heroic as a founding investor (in March) and signed up for the annual membership on June 17th. Currently I'm in Class V of the Optimize Coach Training and loving ALL that we're learning.
The app delivers the curriculum seamlessly. The Master Class & 101 videos are easy to watch and there are even playlists that queue in advance, which makes moving through the information easy & efficient. I prefer reading the Philosopher's Notes and there are options for that too (video, audio, or text).
I also LOVE that Heroic is both a PBC & certified B Corporation as I created & love teaching a class where college students work on experiential learning consulting teams with businesses, helping them to become certified B Corporations.
I’ve devoted my career (and life) to educating & empowering students to become changemakers and I appreciate & admire that the team at Heroic & Optimize have goals are along those same lines -- though their vision is admirably far GREATER than mine… I just teach college students, they're truly changing the world at scale 🙂

Central place for coaching growth
Coaching class V here, and Love the wisdom! Everything stacks in a cohesive system so it’s easy to digest, review, or jump in at any point. Moving from theory to practice to mastery is very straightforward (and stills takes work) but the path is laid out along with tools and exercises. I’m still getting used to navigating them on a practical level, so I occasionally redesign them for myself. Also getting pumped for the practical, future companion app Heroic. Optimize is really incredible though, there’s no way I’d be able to make this kind of focused, compounded growth and reflection with other systems or on my own. I appreciate you guys and all you have/ will/ currently do!
