A REQUEST
Dear Dhan Team,
I would like to appreciate the excellent work you’ve done with the Dhan DEX D3 platform. As an active F&O trader, I find it to be one of the best trading platforms available in India. The interface is clean, fast, and designed with traders in mind.
I have a few suggestions that I believe would make the platform even better.
1. Display P&L amount on Chart-based Target & Stop Loss
When placing a target and stop loss directly on the chart, the platform currently displays only the quantity. It would be extremely helpful if it also displayed the estimated profit or loss in monetary terms (₹), based on the target and stop-loss levels.
Seeing the actual amount at risk and the potential reward directly on the chart would improve decision-making and make trade management much more intuitive.
2. Reset Entry Price and P&L on Re-entry
This is the feature I would request the most.
Suppose I enter a contract at ₹200 and exit at ₹300. Later, I re-enter the same contract at ₹260. Instead of showing my fresh entry at ₹260, the chart continues to display an averaged or previous entry reference. This makes it difficult to judge the current trade accurately.
A bigger concern is the P&L display. For example, if I take a ₹10,000 loss on a contract, exit the position, and later find a fresh setup to re-enter the same contract, the platform still shows the previous ₹10,000 loss. Psychologically, this is distracting and can negatively influence trading decisions.
Every new position should be treated as a completely fresh trade. Once a position is closed, the next entry in the same contract should display:
* The new entry price only.
* Profit/Loss calculated only from the current open position.
* No carry-forward of the previous trade’s realized P&L on the active position display.
Traders can always view their overall realized P&L in the Positions, Orders, or Trade Book sections. However, the chart should reflect only the currently active trade, allowing traders to make unbiased decisions based on the present setup rather than previous outcomes.
I believe these enhancements would significantly improve the trading experience, especially for active intraday F&O traders.

Notification issue
Dear developer app’s notification gets automatically off n have to reinstall app again n again…such a panic plz resolve this
Lagging chart
Chart open and any command like option chain check modify target stuff on chart not open quickly as compared to zerodha. Just an lite version can be introduce
Reliable, Fast & User-Friendly Trading App
Dhan is one of the best trading apps I’ve used. The interface is clean, fast, and easy to navigate, even for beginners. Order execution is super quick and the charts are very detailed with all the tools a trader needs. I also like the transparency in charges and the helpful customer support. Overall, a reliable app for serious as well as new traders. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stopped showing price alert
The app has suddenly stopped showing price alerts and order executions on Home Screen and Lock Screen even though my device notification settings was on for the app. Please rectify this

Loss
Loss is always there when there is a profit all profit goes to them by a source of brokreage worst app forever
After update the app is not user friendly now.

Full of bugs
Your pc version is best but for Mobile we can't do scalping every section is buggy, i have iPhone 14 plus whenever i open chart and change option price chart get mess up if i do long press menu pop's up but it not hide until i go from landscape to portrait, i can't even choose quantity from chart full of bugs.

App freeze problem
Overall app is so good but now a days apps gets freezes most of the time. Unable to select any option, time frame a, call or put strike price change as it gets freeze most of the time that disappoints me. Request you to look this issue and fix it immediately

not compatible with ipad
as a dhan user I love to use dhan app and scalper option and its quitly not supported the resolution of ipad it shows small screen please develop this and zerodha works quite fine in ipad with great resolution screen so plz kindly update

Dear Team, please upgrade for full screen trading from Ipad. Its Useless until we get that feature. During travel ipad is best option in large screen for scalping as well as chart view
Unreliable Trading App Causing Major Losses
I've been using the Dhan app for quite some time now and the constant technical glitches have made trading a nightmare. Today, September 20, 2024, I was unable to place any orders at all. Additionally, whenever I place a stop-loss order on the Sensex, it gets executed immediately, even if the price hasn't reached the stop-loss level. I've also faced issues with market buy/sell orders not executing. Connectivity problems are frequent across BSE, NSE, and MCX. Despite numerous complaints, Dhan's customer support insists that everything is working fine. I've lost lakhs due to these app glitches and yet, there has been no resolution. I strongly advise against using this app.

Order Delays; UI Improvement Needed
I've been using Dhan for a considerable time with satisfaction, but lately, I've noticed frequent delays in order execution, which have negatively impacted my trading performance by causing missed opportunities and financial losses. I urge the support team to promptly address and resolve these issues to restore the platform's reliability. Additionally, the increasing number of users should be seen as an opportunity, and continuous improvements to the user interface, especially to accommodate multiple orders efficiently, should be prioritized.

Multiple bugs in app
Many times open interest values are 0, greeks values and 0, I reported to Dhan care but Dhan care is careless, instead of investigating problem every time they bring excuse like check during market hours, login again and so on , app has many good features but doesn’t seem properly tested
Interface is excellent but takes time to load
Interface is excellent but takes time to load. Developers need to make it a little bit lighter so that charts can load fast. Furthermore, no iPad app available. Eagerly awaiting iPad app. Please.
Strategy maker tab
Its a great app. But some suggestions needs to be implemented. Pls make the Strategy maker tab a bit more user friendly as while making strangle or straddle after every buy/sell of strike price, it returns to original tab. Pls let us buy/sell both legs at the same time.
Option builder needs improvement
Option Builder needs improvement. It should be one click add (with icons B and S), one click delete (clicking on same strike again) just like Sensibull. In website also, while we add any strike price and we want to remove, we have to go out of the chain and then we remove it manually. Instead of that, clicking on same strike against should remove. Payoff graph should adjust accordingly instantly, so we can play with graph and build strategy accordingly just like Sensibull. Also when we select strike price it should be mentioned it’s selected. In website, it shows that it’s selected only when cursor moves on that strike price. I think you can replace Sensibull but some improvement are needed just like Sensibull.
