Feel like some kind of absurd joke
I was used to apps like this when I got my first smartphone 10 years ago.

Optoma, votre application n’est pas stable, celle-ci ne garde pas en mémoire plus de quelques heures le matériel synchronisé pour ma part un vidéo projecteur que j’utilise depuis 1ans.
Résultat, l’utilisation de la télécommande depuis le smartphone ne fonctionne pas depuis l’achat du vidéo projecteur.

Can’t sign into Google Account
When I try to log into my google account through the app it says the browser is not secure. Please update the app so I can log in.

All you get is server error making app useless on my Optoma P2.
Really bizarre
I don’t understand how they could have released this app as it stands. It takes a second or 2 to respond to any action, and I get an “unable to connect to Optoma server” constantly. Why is it even trying to connect to the Optoma server when my projector is 2 meters away? Completely useless. Bizarre, because the projector is awesome.

Worst app ever
This is the absolute worst app for a projector ever. How can a company produce such a great piece of hardware but have the absolute worst developers in the world working for them. Get rid of whoever is on your mobile app team and fix this! This app is an insult to spending $3000 on a projector. My dog destroyed the remote when I first got this and I figured no big deal, use the app…. But lately the thing does not even work. Server errors constantly and the volume controls are ridiculous. I have accidentally turned my projector up to 100 and down to 0 several times on accident. At the moment the app hasn’t worked for days and I haven’t been able to adjust the volume. I am the kind of person that is perfectly happy being remoteless and love using apps, but this one just straight up doesn’t work. I’ll have to purchase a new remote and have 1 device in the house that can’t just be controlled by my phone.
Whoever built this should be fired immediately. It is a disgrace to developers all around the world. I am considering selling my projector and never recommending Optoma again over this.

Your customers bought expensive projectors and want the features to work.
This app is a slap in the face. As a developer myself, I can only assume it was developed by someone’s teenage kid for a high school project.

Could not connect to Google account
1.Google doesn’t work with the is app, it shows it’s not a proper app or browser to connect to my google account, not safe.
2. Remote control mode very hard to use, the lagging is so long and slow

I can’t really tell you anything about the app. The verification email never arrived. I tried 2 different accounts. Did not help. Or they might Mail me the verification link with the post system. In this case I let you know, if it arrives…

Needs a real investment
Optoma needs to take this stuff seriously and make an app that functions. Some releases just don’t work at all, and worse off, the remote is bad for their projectors. Come on guys. Everyone else has this figured out.
