Why bother going to the trouble of creating an app central to setting up voice control and then don’t let the user register via the app?

Account linking didn’t work in Alexa
New Acct Email Format Error
Keep getting this error. App adds <x> in the middle of the email address after the 20th character and even after correction adds it back in and throws the error. Can’t register a new account. And 6-digit Captcha codes twice? Really?

Will not work at all. Will not allow registration. Therefore useless.
