Ora - Events & Tickets

This update fixes two things that were getting in the way. The camera works again. Adding photos and scanning a ticket QR code no longer fail on iOS. Pages stay in the app. Tapping through Ora would sometimes hand you off to Safari mid-flow, including straight after signing in. It doesn't now. Also new on Ora since the last app update: Moments — add photos and clips from events you've been to, and see the night back as a recap. A rebuilt Explore. It opens on a city and remembers the one you pick, with a featured pick up top, filters for what you're in the mood for, and This Week, Popular and Next Week rails. There's a calendar if you'd rather jump to a date, and a heart to save anything for later. City and category pages you can share — nightlife in Austin, live music in Chicago, comedy in Miami. Sign in with your email address as well as your phone number. Codes are more reliable, and UK and Irish numbers work properly now. A rebuilt profile with your upcoming events and the communities you've turned out to be part of. Host pages have been redesigned, with a schedule, a guest list and bios. An event priced in pounds is charged in pounds, end to end. Buying on a phone is fixed. The ticket list scrolls instead of hiding the checkout button off the bottom of the screen. Pay-what-you-want tickets, where the host can suggest an amount and set a minimum. For hosts: the organizer side of Ora now opens in the app instead of sending you out to the website, and check-in at the door has been rebuilt.
