Sunday edition links broken

For the last several months I’ve noticed the touch links in the Sunday edition are broken and lead to completely different stories and articles. Especially the Opinion and Today’s Economy sections. Whoever they have assigned to the task is failing miserably. The fact it only occurs on the Sunday edition leads me to conclude it’s a part time worker who needs to ask for help. Otherwise, the Monday through Saturday editions are assembled with working links.

Do NOT subscribe to this paper!

I subscribed for the premium tier which is like $4.50 a week after 13 weeks for 99 cents, but I subscribed with my Apple ID using a private relay email. Here’s the problem. The Register has NO RECORD of my account when I share with them the email address I signed in with. And to make matters worse, this company doesn’t even have an “Unsubscribe” option on their app so there is absolutely no way I can unsubscribe from the paper. I am at a loss as to what to do and I will be charged in about 12 weeks. I am racking my brain and even Apple is no help. So, do NOT subscribe to this paper as they make it utterly impossible to unsubscribe and do NOT use private relay emails as they are the worst invention by Apple to date.

New app is confusing

This version of the app repeats stories, skips aromas und and generally makes it hard to tell what part of the paper you are reading. When I go to the article listing, about a quarter of the articles say “title not found”. What a mess!

New app is a joke

Please bring back the old app
Did any of the developers actually try this new garbage on an IPad?
It’s a giant step backwards, almost impossible to read now
Articles are bad enough on the new app, but things like lists or sports standings are now either formatted terribly or not available

Paper content is ok; The app, not so much

Navigation is a problem. After you click a story and read it, the app never takes you back to the full newspaper page you were previously on. Instead, the app takes the reader to a spot multiple pages away (sometimes 10 or more). Navigating back to where you were is a pain in the neck. Ugh!
