About

Orator Field is the door-to-door canvassing app for political and advocacy campaigns. It gives your field team a fast, reliable way to walk assigned turf, record every conversation, and get that work back to the campaign - even with no signal. Built for the doorstep, not the desk: - Turn-by-turn walk lists. See your assigned households on a map and work them in an efficient order. - One-tap door logging. Record a contact, disposition, survey answer, or note in seconds. - Works offline. Keep canvassing in dead zones; everything syncs automatically when you are back online. - Coverage you can trust. Each recorded door is anchored to where it happened, so the campaign can confirm turf is fully walked. - Clean, focused interface. Big tap targets and a simple flow that works on the move. Who it is for: Orator Field is a tool for authorized campaign staff and volunteers. You sign in with an account issued by your campaign. It is not a general-purpose app and does not provide public access to any voter or campaign data. Location and privacy: Orator Field takes a single location reading at the moment you save a door record, so the campaign can confirm turf was walked. It does not track your location in the background, it does not run when you are signed out, and it is never used for advertising. Full details are in our privacy policy.

What's New in Orator Field

0.9.2

Taking a photo of a sign now works reliably, and saving one tells you what it is doing instead of sitting on "Saving…" with nothing behind it. Location fixes are faster and more accurate. The app no longer gives up on the phone's best location provider while it is still warming up, and it uses a position the phone is already holding rather than waiting for a new one. If location is switched off, the app now takes you straight to the right settings screen instead of describing where to find it. Sign records now note which phone placed them, so a position that looks wrong can be tracked down.
