Stealing deposited crypto
My deposit (15GB) got drained in matter of seconds! Twice!
It worked
One day it become nuts. It steals money somehow. Deposit of 15 GB were drained in minutes, adc CPU went nuts with Orchid.VPN process which were connecting to some strange IP's. I think some fraud may take place with that app. Support just did'nt answer at all.

Wasted my data
I’m 10 days into my cellular cycle and I get a notification I’m all out of Data. Check my settings and in one day Orchid ripped 67GB somehow. Wasted money buying bandwidth, no wasting money buying virtually zero data for the next 20 days. THANKS

Great app, I used it for years, but recently the connection started failing every few minutes (on iOS), comprising security.

I paid for the service and never received anything, don’t waste your money.
Automatic shut down
It works but it does not stay on. Especially when you go into facebook. Please fix asap. Decentralized privacy is the way to go!
Absolute garbage
I do not recommend this app. The service didn’t work for me and my money was wasted.
I like it
I’m no expert with the hops and all that (maybe and a section to explain) but I know it’s covering my basic browsing. Usually have to turn it off to even watch Netflix. Well priced, I’ve always been sweet on oxt so I’m a little biased but the vpn does work and I’m surprised I stuck with it
Brilliant
Instead of paying a lump sum for VPN per year you can use purchase vpn on Gigabyte! Which means if you only using it sparingly or on public WI-FI you can have it forever! It is more secure than other vpn as it doesn’t hold any logs! As it a decentralised network! Other private companies can’t prove that they can’t save your logs! But if your an advocacy for privacy the. This is the ultimate for you as it’s disentralised!
My only complaint here is the payment system and also it’s not released yet on Windows or Linux, it should be allot easier for non crypto folk to purchase! It would be impossible for some! Hopefully this will change in the future! I am sure that it has a very bright future ahead!

Love it, but some fixes needed
App is excellent and works well when it works; however, two major flaws need to be fixed. 1. Traffic is not paused when the app starts. When the VPN connection is starting I’ve seen email, texts, tweets, etc. arrive. 2. VPN connection randomly disconnects leaving you working online without protection. It’s as if there’s a timeout. Notice it in the morning when the phone has been unused all night, Orchid has disconnected and DOES NOT automatically reconnect - you have to open the app to reconnect. Upon disconnect, all traffic must be stopped.
I put 20 xDAI in almost a month ago and my balance is at 18.47 xDAI after about two months, maybe three. Love that the app doesn’t collect or share any of your info. I’ve also noticed that I’ve been able to do some things using Orchid’s VPN that are blocked by other services. Implement a solid kill switch and fix the network traffic not pausing issue and this will be one of the most secure and private solutions.

Vpn is constantly not working

Orchid has come a long way in the last couple years. From the competitive pricing to the ease of use and customization of hops are unparalleled in the VPN space. The fact that Orchid is a decentralized service is everything a VPN user could ask for. Gone are the days of using a centralized VPN just to have them sell your data or simply hand it over to government entities. I honestly can’t wait to see what new features Orchid releases in the future because I know it will be a game changer.
One thing I would love to see implemented, and I know it’s been hinted at, is the ability for anyone to contribute to the network by staking $OXT. This is a killer application that would increase the decentralization while changing the VPN space as we know it.

I love orchid
I was a beta user, I’m very impressed with the improvements made to the app, a good app is the staple of a good company. Decentralized vpn. I love it, purchasing on the app option is easier than anything. It’s genius. If they improve at the rate I’ve seen thus far then the sky’s the limit
Love it’s crypto based but…
I love that this vpn runs on crypto is is decentralized and am excited for what this app will hopefully become. But….it’s lacking some big features other vpn apps have like Surfshark. If they add auto connect to I trusted networks and kill switch features this would be the best vpn. Auto connect is by far the best feature a vpn can have.
