60 years of going down hill
Ever since the Oregonian and Oregon Journal were bought out by an out of state corporation, the quality of the publications has steadily declined.
First two papers, one a morning issue and a second a afternoon issue, becoming a single issue, then the changing of daily delivery to a semi daily publication and then a small paper with a highly overpriced electronic edition.
No wonder that circulation has dropped.

No longer useful for local news
So much content is now under pay wall, increasingly each week, so not useful source of local news

Usually the app works well as. However, there’s been two instances in the last two days since I’ve been using it where, despite the fact I was already signed in it hasn’t let me view an article saying, “to continue reading you need a subscription…”. After I push the button saying, “ restore purchase” and got a message from the app that said “ purchase history restored” the app simply went back to the original page saying that I needed a subscription and never let me read the actual article. Another time, when I clicked on a link in an article within the app, it took me outside the app to Oregonlive.com to read the article, again blocking my access to the article when it did so and saying I needed to sign in.

Rip Off Artists
There is nothing good to say about OregonLive. I subscribe to two national newspapers and one UK newspaper and never have been denied access to any of them. I am continually being denied access to Oregon. The Oregon AG should investigate them. They are ripping off their subscribers.
