The Fox 12 Oregon app continues to show news that is 3-5 days old. NO CURRENT NEWS for readers, especially on the weekends! This has been occurring for over 3 months! FIX YOUR APP and hire employees who work to report CURRENT DAILY NEWS!! I’m tired of opening and closing immediately due to old news! WOW!

Used to be a good app
This used to be a good app to where I could start the day getting the latest national and local news. But for me this app over the past couple of years has gone to good to not so good to worse. I don’t like ads autoplaying with audio as it disturbs those sleeping nearby. I don’t appreciate having to watch the same long Trimet ad with every video that is opened. That is disrespectful of my time. In fact, I don’t use this app to watch videos, I just want to read the news stories. Just recently, many news stories are now video only, preceded by a long ad. It’s got to the point to where I’m searching for a different news source. Please bring back the format from a year ago.

They keep changing the app and making it worse! Less options and more adds. Time to find a new news source!
Unwanted Notification
I’ve turned sports notifications off, yet this app continues sending alerts about the Portland Thorns and Fire teams anyway. Notification settings should actually respect user preferences. It’s frustrating to keep getting unwanted sports updates after explicitly disabling them. Please fix the notification filtering system so users only receive the alerts they choose.

Poorly written
Whoever programs this app is intrusive. They put stupid ads in the middle of things that you’re trying to read and interrupt the entire flow of what you’re trying to do. It is poorly constructed, particularly poorly initiated.
