Succeeds where all else fails
Offline maps are good to have. OsmAnd is too buggy and frequently stops responding. I found this and I’m very pleased with it. I would really like a quick link to search up a place in the system browser (I use kagi some apps hard link google but it would be nice for a universal search link).

Cannot load images and details from imported bookmark
Hi support, The latest 2 updates cannot load images and details from imported bookmark, would be grateful if could fix this issue.
Best maps
Omg, really useful for cyclist if you want to find quicker way to travel through unknown roads or small trails in the parks. I really like it. Plus give you options to download maps and use them offline which is really useful as well as literary shows you so much more information and different trails,roads,places than regular Google or Apple Maps. 5 stars right away.

I tried
I tried to use this app and was able to save 10 trails and even saw a map with all 10. But like so many apps, this app tries to be all things to all people - here’s a coffee shop, here’s a gas station- giving all kinds of stuff I don’t want. And it’s not intuitive at all.
No indication of private access or informal
I use at least 3 days a week for hiking in areas with no mobile data, so downloaded maps are essential. However, private and informal trails (Path or Track) is not indicated (such as by color or faint line), which is risky (people in US have guns!). Update: I suggest red/pink [danger] for private, and faint (e.g. gray instead of black) for “informal” tag [path may disappear]

Bike navigation doesn’t prefer bike lanes
This looks like a very promising app overall but as it is currently, bike navigation isn’t very good. It prefers to direct me to ride down a boulevard even when there is a bike path one street over. The bike path isn’t even a detour in this case as it has me cross over it later in the route. I’m able to get it to use the bike path if I put multiple stops along it, so it seems it’s technically able to use it in its route. Obviously this isn’t helpful if I’m going somewhere less familiar.
Edit: The path is not highlighted when enabling the cycling layer.
I checked the path in OSM and it’s marked as bicycle: designated, foot: designated, highway: cycleway. The other nearby bike path which is marked bicycle:yes does get highlighted in the cycling layer (still doesn’t get used as much as I’d like when routing, but better).

Common sense
I got frustrated and fed up with Google. I live in Ny and there is no service on the subway so it’s a game of frustration to pull out my phone and check directions I pulled up only for the app to have reset because of the lack of connectivity. Being able to pull out my laptop at 2:00 am when my phone is dead and there is no WiFi has absolutely saved me a couple of times.

Really nice and helpful
True to their word
I heard about them on Instagram as a way to get around in case of an outage; I can confirm it works perfectly well on airplane mode or just without cellular turned on. It’s also open source which tells me they’re a reliable bunch. I’m still scrounging up some to do it myself but please donate to the devs if you can!

Junk
It wants to download what it thinks you want instead of where you are. example: trying to see trails in Caribou Wilderness but app keeps trying to download load map of Chico a town 50 miles away. Trashed app.
